Halle Berry followed a new celebrity trend in her latest stunning photo shared earlier this week. The ageless beauty left fans in awe over the chic photograph.

Halle Berry, 54, looked youthful as ever in a Tuesday photo shared on her Instagram. The acclaimed actress showed that she is not above following trends in fashion, at least among other celebrities.

Some months back, Berry's fellow superstars were spotted all over wearing sandals and socks. Being the leader that she is, Berry rocked the style in her own unique way. Her post is found below.

BERRY STUNS IN BLACK OUTFIT

In the shot taken outside, Berry wore a large black sweater as she sat down on some stairs. The piece covered her entire body except for her legs. They shined in their full glory up to about mid-calf.

Berry turned her head slightly for the photograph, barely smiling as she looked off into the distance. She wore her hair tied in a low ponytail with her bangs out, and clasped her hands loosely.

SOCKS AND SANDALS TREND

On her feet, Berry wore a pair of black heels that wrapped up her feet and legs in a rigid, lacy design. At the top of the socks read, "I am a voter," while in Berry's caption was written, " 'NUF SAID..."

The fashion police might contest berry's choice to showcase her socks and sandals. Many think the two should not be worn together — ever. However, Berry's fans loved the look regardless.

ANSWERING CRITICS

In any case, Berry is not one to let the opinions of others get to her. In April, she responded when some netizens criticized her for allowing her son to wear heels while quarantined at home.

The backlash came after Berry shared a video of Maceo, six, walking up some stairs in plaid pajamas and a large pair of heeled white boots — presumably his mother's. "Quarantine Day 12," Berry captioned it.

In the comments, many believed — or wanted to believe — that it was Berry's daughter Nahla, who is 12. Berry gracefully corrected them, adding that it was just "harmless fun."

BERRY'S EXERCISE WEIGHT

In addition to making her laugh, Maceo has also helped his mom keep up her fitness regime. Late last month, Berry shared the cutest video of herself doing squats while lifting the young boy.

In her caption, Berry explained that, due to the coronavirus pandemic and virtual schooling, kids were finding it difficult to stay energized. Lifting Maceo was her way of helping him have fun while staying fit herself.
