Brian Austin Green, 47, surprised many people when he was unmasked on “The Masked Singer.” The “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum had played the role of the Giraffe character quite well in the singing competition.

Now one of his former co-stars from “Beverly Hills, 90210” has reacted to his unmasking. Tori Spelling was one of the people who reacted with shock after finding out Green was the Giraffe all along.

GREEN’S ELIMINATION

Green was eliminated from “The Masked Singer” this week after his performance of Kool and the Gang’s hit track “Get Down on It.” He and Spelling had acted like high school sweethearts David Silver and Donna Martin on the ’90s teenage drama.

Spelling noted how on–camera she and Green had been a couple, but off-camera she felt they were something else.

In 2019, the duo reunited in the spinoff series “BH90210.” In the new series that was, unfortunately shortlived, the actors played fictionalized versions of themselves alongside many of their former co-stars.

HOW VOTING HAPPENS ON THE SHOW

Each celebrity performed their chosen songs before a drone delivered a clue to the judges about their true identities. “The Masked Singer” is judged by Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger, Jenny McCarthy, and Joel McHale joined them as a guest judge this week.

Since his role on “Beverly Hills, 90210,” Green has since married actress Megan Fox. The father of four has since appeared in 2005’s “Freddie,” “Desperate Housewives,” and “Anger Management” just to name a few roles.

WHAT TORI’S BEEN UP TO

Spelling, for her part, managed to get her own reality series “Tori & Dean: Sweet Home Hollywood,” in 2006. She also got a role in the reboot of the film, “Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?” before starring on “BH90210.”

In August 2020, Spelling had a guest appearance on the “Women on Top” podcast. There she opened up to co-hosts Roxy Manning and Tammin Sursok about her relationship with Green off-screen.

TORI’S RELATIONSHIP WITH BRIAN

Spelling noted how on–camera they had been a couple, but off-camera she felt they were something else. The actress hilariously recalled an incident with her co-star where they spoke about their off-screen relationship.

She recalled asking Green if he remembered the time they told each other they loved the other off-screen and he, somehow, doesn’t recall the incident. The star has dealt with the varying perceptions by just brushing them off.
