" It is the little moments in life."

Fans of the actress wasted no time in echoing their love and support for her. One fan commented that she loved Doherty and hoped she recovers from the situation, while another called her a beautiful soul inside and out.

Doherty has never hidden her love and value for her friendship with 38-year-old Martinez. She was reported to have said that she felt lucky to have the model in her life.

Doherty revealed that she had not yet sat down to write letters and farewell to her loved ones.

Doherty revealed that Martinez has impacted her life and has stood by her since the day they met, adding that they always laughed and shared deep conversations to lift each other.

Doherty was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 after finding a lump in her breast. During a recent interview, the 49-year-old revealed that she was not planning to sign off just yet.

The actress revealed that she had not yet sat down to write her letters and farewell to her loved ones. According to her, she has things she would love to tell her mom and also let her husband know what he means to her.

Doherty, who is married to photographer Kurt Iswarienko revealed that she felt like she was signing off whenever she tried writing her letters, and she is not ready to sign off.

The actress also said that she might record video messages for her loved ones, adding that she felt like a very healthy human being. She noted that it is hard to wrap up affairs when it feels like nothing is changing.

The "Beverly Hills, 90210" alumni announced she was in remission in February 2017 and confirmed that the cancer was back during an appearance on "Good Morning America" earlier this year.

According to reports, Doherty's co-star, Ian Ziering, recently gave an update on Doherty's cancer battle, revealing that she was doing great and referred to her as "resilient."
