As the debate about whether or not one should wear a face mask to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus disease, actress Bridget Moynahan recently showed what side she was on in a social media post.

Bridget Moynahan, 49, recently shared a closeup image of herself on her Instagram account. In the photo, the “Blue Bloods” actress revealed that she supported taking precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Moynahan shared a selfie where she was seen wearing glasses and a transparent face shield. She captioned the candid post by noting how things were slowly getting back to “normal” amid the pandemic.

The actress wrote alongside her post: “Slowly but surely getting back in the groove.” She also included several hashtags with one going to her series and three more for “shield,” “maskup,” and “makeithappen.”

When the star wasn’t encouraging her fans to wear face masks and shields, she revealed how low maintenance she was. Last year, the actress revealed what her morning preparation routine looked like.

Moynahan shared how she would wash her face, apply some sunblock, and then put on some light makeup before leaving her home. The actress joked that she got ready faster than most of the men she knew.

She also discussed her age, she was 47 during the interview in 2019, and how much she didn’t think about how old she was. The CBS show star explained that she didn’t know when age ever really mattered in her life.

The actress shared how she still weighed the same as she did when she was in high school. She also confessed that she had never been more physically fit in her life than what she was at the time.

In September 2020, “Us Weekly,” compared photos of the “Blue Bloods” cast from season 1 until the current one. An earlier shot of Moynahan showed how young she was when she started working on the show.

A current picture of Moynahan was placed next to her older one and the main difference between them was that the star looked slightly older. Compared to the other stars, her changes seemed minimal.

On “Blue Bloods,” the actress plays the role of Assistant District Attorney (ADA) Erin Reagan. In the police drama, her role as the ADA actually goes against her family who is all generally policemen and women.

In May 2020, CBS renewed “Blue Bloods” for its 11th season. Fans can expect to see a new character who will now feature at the Reagan family Sunday dinner table when the new season begins.

Will Hochman will play the role of Joe Hill who was revealed as the grandson of police commissioner Frank Reagan (played by Tom Selleck) in season 10. Frank's eldest child, Joe, was an NYPD policeman who was killed on duty but not before he had his son.
