DOES TOM BERGERON WATCH 'DWTS' NOW?

Banks took over from Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews as the sole host of "DWTS" for its current season. For the first time in the competition's history, they have a solo host. After taking a step back, Bergeron revealed whether he still keeps track.

Ratings haven't been this low since they aired a pre-recorded episode that featured no new content.

Bergeron served as a host for the ABC show for 28 seasons spanning 14 years, and keeping to the diplomatic side of things; the former host answered indirectly when asked whether he follows Banks' progress on the show and reportedly said:

“The past is the past. I’m looking to the future in my antique car."

WILL BANKS CONTINUE TO HOST?

Even though fans anticipated the return of "DWTS" for its 29th season, they haven't taken to the show's latest changes based on new ratings. Since the new season's premiere, the show's had lower ratings than they've had in years.

Fans have been calling for the return of Bergeron and Andrews, and it is reported that the episode of "DWTS" that aired on October 5 only drew 5.8 million viewers - the lowest view rate in five years.

Compared to the 6.5 million viewers that watched the show the same time last year, ratings haven't been this low since they aired a pre-recorded episode that featured no new content.

The most recent episode of the popular show saw Derek Hough and his dancing pro girlfriend Haley Erbert return to the floor for the first time in three years, and they totally blew the audience away with their performance.

Hough joined the judging panel for the current season replacing longtime judge Len Goodman, and he ignited the dance floor dancing the Paso Doble with Erbert to the Taalbi Brothers song "Uccen."
