Australian TV Host & Model Jesinta Franklin Announces She Is Expecting Her Second Child
The once Miss Universe Australia will soon become a mother for the second time, less than a year after she and her husband welcomed daughter Tullulah, and she can’t wait to meet her new little blessing.
29-year-old Australian former beauty pageant, model, and TV host Jesinta Franklin has just confirmed that she is expecting her second child with her husband of two years, 33-year-old professional Australian rules footballer Lance “Buddy” Franklin.
On October 29, 2020, Jesinta sat for an Instagram Live conversation with Anna Lahey, founder of the beauty product line Vida Glow, on which the two discussed a series of topics, including how to balance one’s personal life with business.

At one moment of the nearly an hour-long interview, Lahey, who had previously received permission from her, congratulated Jesinta for her second pregnancy, prompting the model to confirm the news in public for the first time, saying:
“Yes, yes, nearly halfway through. It was a very big surprise for us. Tullulah will be getting a sibling at the end of March next year, so she will have just turned one.”
Following the bombshell revelation, Jesinta went on to share that having to take care of Tullulah, who is currently 8 months old, and a newborn, will be “very daunting at first,” but she only feels “blessed” by the pregnancy.
Getting pregnant so soon after welcoming Tullulah, was quite a surprise for Jesinta, who had previously opened up about the fertility issues she struggled with to conceive for the first time.
Jesinta added that she had to put some of her upcoming business projects to rest for a little longer since she wasn’t really counting on welcoming another child so soon, and she is looking forward to focusing on motherhood in her immediate future.
BACK TO WORK
Back in May, 2020, when Tullulah was only three months old, Jesinta shared that she was already back to business, revealing that she had started to get up very early to work on a skincare project.
Jesinta has also been reading to children in schools around Sydney, part of her collaboration with Lovekins Australia, to promote the children’s book about self-love and inclusivity “The Grumpy Little Crocodile.”
As a model, she recently lent her image to the Grown Alchemist cosmetics and skin health brand, posing for a promotional photoshoot at the yet-to-be open to the public hotel Crown Sydney.
“I’m checking in for a stay-cation as soon as the doors open. Crown has always been our home away from home. Let the countdown begin,” Jesinta captioned a behind-the-scenes clip of herself trying beauty products in one of the hotel rooms.
It seems that Jesinta is trying to get as much as she can accomplish before she delivers her second child, especially after all that the COVID-19 pandemic had already slowed her down earlier in the year.
