Gabrielle Union Looks Pretty with Long Braids in a Tight Colorful Dress in This Stunning Photo

American actress Gabrielle Union stunned in a gorgeous colorful outfit and long braided hair in recent photos she shared with fans on her Instagram page as she marked her birthday.

Actress Gabrielle Union turned 48 on Thursday and celebrated her special day in grand style. She also made sure to take stunning pictures of the day, which she shared on her Instagram page.

Union shared four photos of herself clad in a gorgeous colorful sleeveless netted gown. In the first picture, she posed with her hands on her long braids as she stared sweetly at the camera.

In the second snapshot, Union still had her hands on her braids. However, she turned to the side, smiling as she flaunted her gorgeous curves.

Union struck a seductive pose in the third picture, closing her eyes as she allowed the rays of the sun to strike her face, giving her a natural glow. She captioned the post:

"Issa Birthday Vibe. ???."

The last photo of the lot was a gorgeous shot that showed Union laughing as she enjoyed the serene environment. Her fans were delighted with every one of her pictures and took turns to wish her a happy birthday.

Her husband, Dwyane Wade, was among those who commented. He gushed over his beautiful wife and wished he was not working but there with her.

She revealed her post-traumatic stress disorder, which first arose after she was raped at gunpoint as a teenager.

Union shares her birthday with actress Tracee Ellis Ross, and both women took turns to celebrate each other's birthdays with posts on their respective Instagram pages. Ellis and Union both turned 48, and to celebrate each other's day, they posted swimsuit pictures of each other.

Union shared a picture of Ellis clad in a two-piece swimsuit, sitting on an outdoor bench. In the caption to the post, she celebrated their friendship with the words:

Ellis also shared a picture of Union in a patterned two-piece swimsuit. In the snapshot, Union bent her back as she smiled and enjoyed her moment in the pool. In the caption to her post, Ellis described her birthday mate as a shining and beautiful light.

She also wrote that she loves being Union's birthday twin, adding that the actress is a force, inspiration, and one of the only people that knew how to get her to turn up. Ellis concluded by saying she loves inhabiting a world and an industry with Union.

Union's stunning birthday posts came almost two weeks after the actress, who is no stranger to turning heads, did so when she stepped out to dinner in a plunging tiger-print dress.

But even with all the happy moments, there are still a few dark shadows in Union's journey through life. She has always been open with her fans about some of her life experiences, and she shared one such experience with them in a cover interview with "Women's Health."

She revealed her post-traumatic stress disorder, which first arose after being raped at gunpoint as a teenager. She disclosed that it was again triggered by current global events like the pandemic, racial reckoning, and images of the brutalization of Black bodies.

However, Union shared that she can cope with her PTSD with the help of therapy, breaking out her emotional fix-me toolkit, and trying to run through all of her situations.

The actress and her famous husband, Wade, a former NBA and Miami Heat star, enjoy a loving relationship and marriage that has seen them become one of Hollywood's biggest success stories.

The couple shares a 2-year-old daughter, Kaavia James, while Wade has three kids from a previous relationship, who Union is a proud stepmother to.
