Dwayne Johnson Shares Childhood Photo & Says People Thought He Was a Little Girl Growing Up
Lately, actor and wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been sharing some of his childhood photos and a recent one he uploaded showed him with a full head of hair, unlike the way we know him now.
A few days ago, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson uploaded an image of himself when he was a four-year-old child. The colored throwback photo showed him in some formal wear as he stood in front of a Christmas tree.
He rocked, excuse the pun, a perm, and his teeth were still growing and looked crooked. In the caption of the post, the “Jumanji” actor joked that he was putting up the picture for the “world’s enjoyment.”

Johnson, now-48, mocked his younger version by also noting how bucked his teeth were. Sharing a little unknown truth about his childhood, the star added in his Instagram caption:
“And for the record, EVERYONE thought I was a little girl growing up.”
The “Fast & Furious” franchise star continued joking about his childhood stating how even from a young age he’d had a way with the girls. He hilariously added that he was so good with the opposite sex mainly because they all thought he was a female!
The businessman also teased his mother, Ata Johnson, by thanking her for the haircut. He included three hashtags calling himself bucky Johnson, writing how he was dressed for success, and stating that something smelled like fish sticks.
Before “The Scorpion King” actor posted the image of himself when he was a four-year-old, he let his fans see what he looked like when he was just 11. Johnson shared a photo from 1983 where he was seen wearing two of his late father’s wrestling belts.
In the image, he also wore his father, Rocky’s, wrestling gown, boots, and underwear. He captioned the picture by noting how much he’d loved to dress up in his father’s wrestling attire when he was a child.
It’s a well-known fact that Johnson looked up to his late father from a very young age. Rocky was a legendary professional wrestler who became the first Black Georgia Heavyweight Champion.
Besides posting a lot of throwback photos of himself this month, Johnson also celebrated his mother’s birthday with a fun video post.
The actor admired his father so much that he wanted to follow in his footsteps. He managed to fulfill his dream long before his father sadly passed away on January 15, 2020, at the age of 75.
Another image that Johnson shared this month was of himself when he was 7 years old. In the throwback photo, the star was seen smiling with his buck teeth while wearing a Hawaiian shirt, and sporting an afro.
He jokingly questioned why his afro was matted down on one side. Praising himself, the “Hercules” actor shared how there was no way he wasn’t bound to grow up to be named one of the Sexiest Men Alive.
Besides posting a lot of throwback photos of himself this month, the star also celebrated his mother’s birthday with a fun video post. In the clip, Johnson was recorded while he walked over to his mother and two children while holding two birthday cakes.
Ata was seen sitting at a dining table with her granddaughters, Jasmine, 4, and Tiana, 2. The “Moana” star sang happy birthday with his wife, Lauren Hashian, before setting the cakes on the table which Jasmine quickly blew out!
