CNN's Don Lemon Shows off a Cute Photo Cuddling His Dog Barkley in Bed

CNN journalist Don Lemon shared an adorable photo on Instagram of himself cuddling his sweet dog Barkley.

Author and CNN's "Tonight with Don Lemon" host Don Lemon shared an adorable photo on Instagram of himself cuddling his dog Barkley in his bed.

Lemon is an animal lover and often shares snaps of the poodles, Boomer, and Barkley, whom he shares with his fiancé and long-time love, Tim Malone, 35, on social media.

In the snap, Lemon can be seen sitting up in his bed, with Barkley in his lap, happily licking his chops. It is obvious that the pup woke Lemon up with "doggy kisses." Lemon captioned the post:

"I woke up like this. ?? are the best. #mansbestfriend #dog #dogdad #barkleymalemon."

Barkley played a big part in Lemon and Malone's romance. In April 2019, Malone proposed to Lemon in a very unusual way. He popped the question via especially engraved dog tags he had made for Barkley and Boomer.

Of course, Malone also made a more conventional offer of his hand and presented Lemon with beautiful white gold and diamond matching engagement rings to seal the deal.

Barkley and Malone first met in a restaurant in New York in 2016 and started dating shortly after. The couple made their relationship public in early 2017, and Malone was Lemon's +one at the 28th annual GLAAD Media Awards.

One big step in their relationship was the adoption of their rescue furbabies, Barkley and Boomer, and the two pups will probably end up playing a big role in the wedding. The couple has recently adopted a third pup, Gus.

Lemon, 53, has already said that he and Malone, 35, are in no hurry to change their marital status, and have yet to set a date for the big day. Lemon first came out as gay in his autobiography, "Transparent."
