LOVE FALLS APART

The couple married in 2017, and are now headed for a divorce. There had been some talk of separation in May, and sources close to Hough and Laich revealed that the two had tried to work things out.

The former couple decided to go into quarentine separately. Hough stayed home in their Los Angeles home, while Laich traveled to their property in Idaho.

MEETING BROOKS LAICH

Hough and Laich first met back in 2013, after Hough had attended a seminar with her family. The seminar focused on shaping your own destiny, and shortly after Hough ended a relationship she was involved in. Hough revealed:

"The next day, my "Curve" costar introduced [Brooks and me] It couldn't have been a better time. We've been open and honest from day one."

But what brought them together wasn't quite enough to create a lasting bond. According to the aforementioned source, Hough felt she needed more than she was getting from the relationship.

Their last attempt ended up confirming that they couldn't overcome their underlying issues, and rebuild their relationship. The failed reconciliation did provide them both with closure and hopefully lead them to a new and happier future.

Since their separation has become official, Hough has been posting on Instgram, and she seems to be on a journey of self-discovery. Hough dated country singer Chuck Wicks for two years, up until 2009.

Hough's last relationship before she met Laich was with " Live with Kelly and Ryan" co-host Ryan Seacrest whom she dated for three years and broke up with in 2013.
