Kristin Cavallari spent a great Halloween in Nashville with her estranged husband former NFL player Jay Cutler and their three children.

The romance may have ended, but Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler seem to have worked through the nastiness of their divorce and spent a pleasant Halloween with their three children.

Kristin shared a snap on Instagram taken on Halloween in the bathroom of her new Nashville Tennessee home that seemed to signal to fans that everything was fine between her and her ex.

In the photo, Kristin can be seen snapping a selfie in the bathroom mirror. The reality star is wearing a salmon-colored cashmere sweater with three-quarter sleeves, and elegant white pants.

Her blond hair is brushed back, and she accessorized with jewelry from her own Uncommon James line: gold hoop earrings, a slender gold necklace, and a gold watch and matching bangles. Most significantly, she is flashing a "peace" sign at the camera.

The former Chicago Bears quarterback and the reality star appealed to fans and to the press to respect their pain and their need for privacy

Not so long ago, Kristin and Jay were at loggerheads over the custody of their three children, sons Camden, 8, and Jaxon, 6; and daughter Saylor, 4.

The reality star had discussed the purchase of a separate home for herself and her children with her soon-to-be ex-husband and he had agreed -- only to renege at the last minute.

Since then, the couple seems to have come to terms, sharing custody of the children, and even spending family holidays together. Kristin has purchased the Nashville home and apparently has settled in happily.

The couple had first announced a separation in April 2020. The marriage had been foundering since late 2019, but Kristin and Jay had attempted a reconciliation.

A second Halloween snap shared by Kristin shows the former couple sitting amicably on the front porch of Kristin's house, with their three children and the family.

Kristin is dressed up as a unicorn, and Jay appears to be wearing a convict striped tracksuit. In order to preserve the children's privacy, their faces are obscured.

The two announced the end of their 7-year marriage on Instagram with a black and white photo from happier days and explained that they had grown apart, and would be separating even though they loved and respected each other.

The former Chicago Bears quarterback and the reality star appealed to fans and to the press to respect their pain and their need for privacy at such a trying moment in their lives.
