JEFFREY DEAN MORGAN'S WIFE
Hilarie Burton was born on July 1, 1982, in Sterling, Virginia. Burton was raised in what she describes as a tight-knit family, and her father is a veteran of the United States Army while her mom is a real estate expert.
Throughout high school, Burton distinguished herself in various areas, including captaining the cheerleading squad and becoming the homecoming queen during her senior year.
More importantly, Burton developed a passion for acting quite early in her life. After high school, she moved to New York to continue her education and actualize her acting dreams.
Through their years together, Morgan has been an unwavering support for his wife. The 54-year-old actor even took delivery of his two kids, albeit with a little help from the midwives.
Burton eventually got her big career break when she landed the coveted job of VJ for MTV's Total Request Live (TRL). She initially won a guest spot to interview on the red carpet for MTV, but her performance impressed the producers, and they offered her a permanent job.

Burton's job with MTV opened up other opportunities for her, and she eventually made her television debut in 2002 on the WB drama "Dawson's Creek."
In April 2003, the 38-year-old actress was cast in the WB drama series "One Tree Hill," where she portrayed the character, Peyton Sawyer. On September 23, 2003, the popular series premiered and became the network's top-rated program of that year.
Burton received critical acclaim for her performance on the show and quickly became the toast of most media publications. She was featured on the cover of People, Maxim, and American Cheerleader Magazine.
In 2005, she made her film debut in the drama "Our Very Own," alongside Allison Janney and Cheryl Hines. She has been featured in several other movies, including "Normal Adolescent Behavior," "Solstice," "The Secret Life of Bees," "The List," and "Bloodworth."
Burton continued to make appearances in television and landed a recurring role in the popular series "Grey's Anatomy" in 2013. It was recently revealed that she would be making a cameo on the AMC series "The Walking Dead" opposite her husband, Morgan.

BURTON'S RELATIONSHIP WITH MORGAN
In 2009, Burton was introduced to Morgan at an Irish pub in Los Angeles by his former "Supernatural" co-star Jensen Ackles and his wife Danneel Ackles during a blind double date.
Hilarie Burton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan later made their red carpet debut as a couple in 2010. That same year, the lovebirds stunned many when word got out that the "One Tree Hill" star had given birth to the couple's first child, son Augustus, now 10.
While they raised their son on their farm in Rhinebeck, New York, the couple experienced some difficulty expanding their family. Burton struggled with infertility issues for many years and suffered several miscarriages.
After several years of trying to conceive a second child, Burton and Morgan eventually welcomed their daughter, George, in February 2018. After more than a decade together, the couple exchanged marital vows on October 5, 2019. While speaking to People on why the couple decided to get married after so many years, the actress explained:

Last month, the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary, and Burton took to her Instagram page to share a cute photo of her wedding day, describing it as the "best day of my life."
