La La Anthony Says Her Son and Vanessa Bryant's Kids Look at Themselves as Cousins

La La Anthony recently opened up about her friendly relationship with Vanessa Bryant. She says her kids and Bryant's kids see themselves as cousins.

La La Anthony puts a lot of stock in friendship, so she never jokes with people she calls friends. One of the people who have the privilege of being called her friend is Vanessa Bryant.

Anthony and Bryant share a special bond, and the TV personality recently had an interview with ET, where she talked about their unique bond and playing auntie to the Bryant children.

Speaking to ET's Melicia Johnson, Anthony said that she was practically a part of Bryant's children's life even before they were born. This is because she was friends with their mother before they both became parents.

The pair started out as NBA wives supporting their basketball husbands, the late Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony. Their bond grew stronger, especially after Kobe and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna lost their lives in an airplane accident earlier this year.

Since then, Anthony has become a pillar of support for her grieving friend and her surviving daughters. In February, she praised Bryant for displaying strength at her late husband's memorial.

Anthony has kept this up in the months that followed, demonstrating her love for the family. The Bryant girls call her "Auntie La La," and she takes the responsibility of being there for them very seriously.

They all had a great time playing football on the field and taking shots of their gorgeous children.

In the discussion with ET, Anthony referred to the Bryants as her "family," and as such, she would always "have their best interests at heart."

Anthony's bond with Bryant has also influenced the connection their kids share. The TV personality is happy that her son, Kiyan, is growing up alongside Bryant's children and those of their other good friend, Ciara.

According to Anthony, her son and Bryant's daughters see themselves as cousins and act accordingly. Their mothers couldn't be more proud of them and have encouraged their friendships.

In October, Anthony, Bryant, and Ciara, accompanied by their kids, got together for a fun vacation. The trio shared photos that documented the wonderful time they had in a town by the seaside.

They all had a great time playing football on the field and taking shots of their gorgeous children. For the occasion, Ciara wore a black swimsuit with a matching wrap while Anthony was dressed in a one-piece with straps.

Anthony and Bryant will not only remain friends, but they will also remain a family and hopefully, their fans will see more photos of them spending blissful time together.
