Reba McEntire Arrives at 2020 CMA Awards Making Her Red Carpet Debut with Boyfriend Rex Linn
Even though the CMA Awards didn't take place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville as usual, Reba McEntire was her usual sparkly self as she and her boyfriend Rex Linn made their red carpet debut.
This year the CMA Awards took place at the Music City Center due to social distancing regulations, but it didn't stop Reba McEntire and Rex Linn from shining on the red carpet for a star-studded date night.
McEntire revealed their romance on her podcast, "Living & Learning," in October last year, and she radiated happiness ahead of the ceremony during which she performed and hosted.

THE ROMANCE REVEAL
The only members of the audience this year consisted of the nominated and performing artists as the novel coronavirus continue to dictate social interaction. The pandemic also had a big influence on the development of McEntire and Linn's relationship.
The couple had their first date in January, just before the novel coronavirus turned pandemic. Consequently, Linn and McEntire spent a lot of time getting to know each other virtually, and they discovered commonalities that just piled onto the attraction they already felt for each other.
"It's good to have a person to talk to, laugh with, get into subjects about what's going on," McEntire said previously. "Discussions about our past, our family, funny stories, him being an actor, me being an actress. And he's very into my music. I'm very into his career."
THEIR RED CARPET DEBUT
With the CMA Awards came the opportunity to step out in style, and they did just that. Linn, who stars in "CSI: Miami," looked dapper in a blue tux jacket and a full face shield. McEntire, on the other hand, sparkled in a long black jacket and matching trousers, her first of various looks for the evening.
McEntire co-hosted the CMA Awards with Darius Rucker, and the country singer looked as excited as she previously told PEOPLE she would be with Linn by her side for the first time.

THE SWEET SHOUTOUT
Wednesday marked the fourth time McEntire hosted the awards ceremony, and she also performed on several occasions throughout the evening. During her opening monologue for the show, McEntire even gave Linn a shoutout, as she reportedly quipped:
"Always stay six feet away from Carrie Underwood ... That's not social distancing, those are Reba rules."
The iconic country singer kept the glimmer going throughout her outfits as she stunned in an A-line gown that featured silver crystal over the bodice. For her performance of "Be a Light" alongside fellow singers Hillary Scott, Chris Tomlin, and Thomas Rhett, McEntire opted for a sequin short-sleeved dress.
Their appearance at the awards ceremony came shortly after Reba McEntire shared a funny video of Linn chanting to his heart's content on social media, and it left followers in stitches.
The couple is smitten, and fans couldn't be more pleased for Linn and McEntire having found love and happiness in each other. They make a lovely couple, and McEntire couldn't be happier having found such a "sweetheart."
