Trisha Yearwood Reveals the Best Gift Husband Garth Brooks Has Given Her — It's an Unusual Item
Country recording artist Trisha Yearwood took a trip down memory lane as she revealed her favorite gift from her husband, Garth Brooks, and the incredible story behind it.
Country recording artist Trisha Yearwood has been married to her loving husband, country singer Garth Brooks for 15 years. In those years, the two have learned more than enough about each other to give the best gifts. In an interview with Taste of Country, Yearwood said:
"I was just talking about one of my favorite [gifts]. The one that we were just discussing is a grocery cart [...]"

Yearwood joked that while the gift might not have seemed entirely romantic in itself, it was the thoughtfulness behind the present. She revealed that we had several times talked about how inconvenient it was to make several trips back and forth while taking groceries into the house.
The couple briefly joked about how cool it would be to have a cart in the house, with which they would easily transport the groceries from the car into the house. Yearwood had no idea that her husband, Brooks, registered that in his mind and decided to take action.
The story of how he got the cart was even cuter. Brooks called his wife's mother and asked for her help. He told her that they needed a shopping cart in their home and asked if she knew where he could find one.
Yearwood admitted that she felt inadequate when it came to matching her husband's thoughtfulness in their marriage.
Luckily for Brooks, Yearwood's mother knew of a grocery store that had been shut down in her hometown and called the owner.
The grocery store owner said that he still had about a dozen carts and was willing to give one to Yearwood's mother for free as her late husband helped him out back in the day by giving him money to start the business.
Come Christmas, Brooks presented the vintage red and white shopping cart to his wife, and she absolutely loved it. Yearwood admitted that she felt inadequate when it came to matching her husband's thoughtfulness in their marriage.
To date, the shopping cart sits in their garage and is there to help them carry all their groceries from the car into the house. It might not have made it to the list of most expensive gifts, but it was a truly special one.
Yearwood and Brooks have been married for 15 years since December 10, 2005. The husband and wife are the proud parents of Brooks' three daughters, Taylor, August, and Allie, from his previous marriage. They are such a power couple.
