How Fox News' Harris Faulkner Honors Her Dad & People Who Served in the US Army on Veterans Day
Award-winning broadcast journalist Harris Faulkner honored her former military father during the recent Veterans Day commemoration. She also paid tribute to former soldiers in the US Army.
Harris Faulkner of Fox News paid her respects to the American heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country. She took to Instagram to share a snap to mark the annual occasion.
The 55-year-old newscaster did not have any new pictures fit for the yearly event so she settled with an old picture of herself attending a past event involving the country's army.

AN HONORARY THROWBACK POST
Faulkner wore a sleek black-and-white dress and brushed her hair neatly on the side. The picture was taken while she was aboard USS Monterey on July 4, 2018.
The Emmy award-winning news anchor stood between two US officials, who appeared to be having a conversation. Her father, Bobby Harris, was once part of the organization. She wrote:
"Proud of America’s Men and Women who have served our great US Military. Proud of my Dad for leading in skies as Army Combat Pilot (Lt. Col) in Vietnam War."
Many fans took to the comment section to pay their respects as well. One male fan expressed gratitude to Faulkner’s father for serving the country.
Some other fans left red, blue, and white heart emojis, which are the country’s national flag colors. One female fan wrote that she remembered her late husband, who fought hard during World War II.
She has made sure that her daughters are aware of their diverse backgrounds and would remind them that they are a symbol of change and unification.
SHEDDING LIGHT FOR TWO RACES
Faulkner, a prominent television personality in Fox, has worked hard to uphold fairness in delivering news. She moderates the hit show "Outnumbered."
Although the show’s audience is mostly from the white community, she sees an opportunity to be a part of the conversation. She is motivated to learn from all sides.
Faulkner feels honored that she played an essential role in informing the country about race issues, which were rarely discussed openly in the past.
Amid the country's ongoing racial unrest following the death of George Floyd, Faulkner, a doting mother to two biracial daughters, Bella and Danika, said that race conversations in their family are not new to them.
She has made sure that her daughters are aware of their diverse backgrounds and would remind them that they are a symbol of change and unification.
When she is not hard at work, Faulkner shares sweet moments with her look-alike daughters, who are her source of strength. They are her inspiration for why she continues to thrive in her career.
Faulkner and her girls are more than just each other’s best girlfriends. The adorable trio has been delighting fans with their sweet bonding moments.
