Fantasia Barrino Looks Chic Eating Vegan Soul Food in Sunglasses & Floral Thigh-High Boots

Fantasia Barrino looked stunningly chic in a post to her Instagram account. The photo, that was posted on Monday, gained attention because of the signature thigh high floral boots she wore.

The photo showed Fantasia Barrino looking chic in sunglasses, a denim shirt, shorts and the statement boots while eating some vegan soul food.

The 36-year-old musician had styled her short hair simply and had accessorized with bracelets and a silver hoop earrings. She wore a cross-body bag and looked ready to dig in to the food.

Fantasia recently became a vegan and in the photo, can be seen enjoying vegan soul food and a glass of wine. In the caption, she tagged Chef Joya, a vegan celebrity chef. She wrote:

"Who Says You Can’t Look Good While Eating Vegan SoulFood??? Omg!! @cookingwithjoya Food will make you want to smack “Yourself” Seriously."

The post, which has garnered over 170,000 likes, has many of her followers gushing over unique footwear. One fan wrote: "Let me take those boots off your hands...I love those."

In October, Fantasia revealed to her more than 4 million Instagram followers that she and her husband had gone vegan. She shared a video in which she prepared a vegan recipe.

The singer, who wears two wedding rings, revealed that she had made the crazy decision to marry herself as a way to embrace self love and to focus on herself.

Fantasia joins a slew of celebrities including Jazmine Sullivan, Lenny Kravitz, and Lizzo, who have, in recent months, decided to stop consuming animal products.

In April 2017, Fantasia posted a series of photos to Instagram revealing a noticeably slimmer frame. She attributed the weight loss to protein shakes and a serious workout routine.

Fantasia got married to, business tycoon, Kendall Taylor in 2015 after knowing him for three weeks. She was impressed by how her husband went from being a former felon to owning his own business.
