'The Masked Singer' Recap — Broccoli Revealed to Be Legendary Singer Paul Anka
"The Masked Singer" is down to its final six contestants after Broccoli was unmasked on the special Thanksgiving episode of the show, revealing him to be legendary singer Paul Anka.
The fourth season of "The Masked Singer" is down to its semi-final stage after Thursday's special episode unmasked legendary singer Paul Anka as the face behind the Broccoli mask.
Before his revelation, Anka had tried to confuse viewers trying to guess his identity on social media. However, with time, it became more apparent that the person behind Broccoli was an older and more classic singer.

"The Masked Singer" shared a video on its Twitter page showing the moment Anka, a singer, songwriter, and actor, was unveiled as the person behind the Brocolli mask.
Many fans reacted to the video, with some of them saying they guessed Anka might have been the one. One fan said he is the first person they got right this season, adding that their family had a connection with the singer.
A second fan said they knew it was him, even though they also thought Broccoli was Steve Martin or Chevy Chase. A third person wondered who the 42-year-old in Chicago Broccoli talked about in his clues of favorite Thanksgiving foods is.
Anka was born on July 30, 1941, in Ottawa, Canada. He was born into a very close family, and it did not take him time to get into music as he sang in the church choir and learned how to play the piano at a young age.
Nash impressed with her guesses then, suggesting that Anika Noni Rose was the face behind the Popcorn mask.
In the heydays of his musical career, Anka was a prolific singer and songwriter and is known for the hit tunes "Diana" and "(Don't) Put Your Head on My Shoulder." He also wrote the lyrics for Frank Sinatra's song, "My Way."
Though many fans guessed Anka was Broccoli, Robin Thicke was the only one of the panelists able to guess correctly, with the others guessing Ringo Starr, Wayne Newton, and Paul Simon.
This is not the first time the panelists, Thicke, Ken Jeong, Jeny McCarthy, and Nicole Scherzinger, would be struggling with their guesses.
In an earlier episode this month, they were joined by actress Niecy Nash to help them guess the remaining masked singers in Group A during the Group Finals.
The finalists from the group included Popcorn, Snow, Owls, and Sun. Nash impressed with her guesses then, suggesting that Anika Noni Rose is the face behind the Popcorn mask. Popcorn remains in the show, so fans will wait till her elimination to see if Nash was right with her guess.
With Broccoli's elimination, the final six contestants still left on the show include Mushroom, Jellyfish, Popcorn, Sun, Seahorse, and Crocodile. Fans will be waiting till the next episode of "The Masked Singer" to see which of the contestants gets unmasked.
