Rev Run's daughter, Vanessa Simmons, recently shared a photo of herself during a vanity company's photoshoot. The star looked like a queen in the stunning silver gown and perfectly styled hair.
Vanessa Simmons is known for her classy fashion choices and effortless beauty, but the reality star decided to up the ante in a breathtaking gown fit for royalty. The post was captioned:
"Cristal collection is the perfect choice for the glam gal in your life, super luxe with adjustable lighting will make you feel like an actual Queen ?? @impressionsvanity."
Simmons was pictured in a glamorous pose, standing next to a lighted vanity mirror. She was looking in the distance, away from the camera, but her gorgeous makeup was still visible in the mirror's reflection.
Her dress was made of a shimmering silver fabric that flared from the waist down. The top of her dress was bedazzled in sliver stones that followed the curve of her body.
On one wrist, Simmons rocked a beautiful shiny bracelet that matched perfectly with her dress. In front of her was a beautiful bouquet of white and mauve flowers, making the perfect ambiance for her shoot.
Fans were blown away by the glamourous look and took to the comments section to compliment the star. One fan gushed, "You made that dress beautiful," while another chimed in, "Very classy ❤️something different is what sets you apart from the rest."
Judging from the recent snap, one would never think Simmons struggled with body image issues, but the beautiful "Growing Up Hip Hop" star admitted that she also faced problems with her weight. She told Madame Noire:
"Over the last year I’ve gained a lot of weight. It came out of nowhere to me... it’s pretty uncomfortable being less confident because of something physical."
The "Dysfunctional Friends" actress did not let her weight get her down. In fact, she took action a few months ago when she joined a 30-day fitness challenge with the season 13 "Bachelorette" reality star, Eric Bigger.
The goal of the challenge was to improve Simmons' fitness and promote body positivity in other moms who may be feeling down. The star's journey was chronicled on the VH1 reality TV series which aired from December to June this year.
Besides her own self-care, the mother of one has also been caring for her daughter, 6-year-old Ava Wayans, whom she shares with Michael Wayans.

Like many people, Simmons was affected by the coronavirus pandemic, and during the quarantine, she took on the role of a kindergarten teacher with her daughter learning from home.
The 32-year-old mother told People that she was taking things one day at a time and aiming to keep a happy household. She even joked that she had become like her father, Joseph "Rev Run" Simmons, who famously took daily baths on the reality show, "Run's House."
