Whoopi Goldberg's Granddaughter Amarah Shows Her Contagious Smile Riding in a Car with Family

Hollywood superstar and TV show host Whoopi Goldberg is the grandmother of three grown children born from her only daughter, and there is a little bit of her in every one of them.

65-year-old comedian and actress Whoopi Goldberg’s oldest granddaughter, 31-year-old visual artist Amarah Skye Martin, is already the mother of a six-year-old daughter named Charli Rose.

While being a mother for the first time is something that changes a woman forever, Amarah’s joyful and playful spirit hasn’t gone anywhere, and she recently put this on display in a social media video shared by her brother Mason.

On a recent Instagram Storiies clip, Amarah was captured as she was clearly having the best of times while riding in a car with her family and fooling around like she was a high school girl with not a care in this world.

Amarah was filmed during a fit of laughter while sitting in the backseat of a car with at least three other people, and she once looked directly to the camera before playfully sticking her tongue out.

TAKING AFTER HER GRANDMOTHER

By looking at Amarah’s contagious smile, it is impossible not to think of her famous grandmother’s wide smile, but the similarities between the grandmother and the granddaughter don’t end here.

While Amarah hasn’t pursued an acting career as Goldberg did with great success, she has certainly been influenced by her grandmother’s creative line of work by becoming a painter and a mixed media artist.

Amarah is the first to acknowledge the example that she grew up with as Goldberg’s granddaughter, and she said in 2018 that she even considered being an actress once, but after finding that she wasn’t cut for it, she pursued painting instead.

MAKING WHOOPI A GREAT-GRANDMOTHER

If Goldberg’s epic career served as an inspiration to Amarah’s professional pursuits, Amarah has also given Goldberg a life-changing gift when she made her a great-grandmother back in 2014 when she welcomed daughter Charli Rose.

Goldberg was a little hesitant about her skills for taking care of a baby in the beginning, since she admitted not to have been much around babies for nearly 40 years, but once she had Charli in her arms, it felt natural right away.

On April 1, 2014, Goldberg took to her Instagram feed to introduce her only great-granddaughter to date with her fans and followers, sharing a video of herself feeding newborn Charli with a baby bottle.

“Everyone meet the new addition to my family Charli Rose and yea I'm a tad awkward it took me a minute been a LONG time!” Goldberg captioned the heart-melting video, thanking God for the new addition to her family.

Goldberg was and still is the best of mothers and friends to her only daughter, and she followed her own mother’s example when she cultivated her relationship with Alex, a tradition she continued with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
