Meadow Walker Takes to Instagram to Honor Her Dad Paul Walker on 7th Anniversary of His Death
This week was the seventh anniversary since actor Paul Walker died suddenly. His only child didn’t forget the special day and took to social media to pay tribute to him with a heartfelt post.
On Monday, November 30, 2020, was the 7th anniversary of Paul Walker’s death. Paul’s death occurred after he’d enjoyed a day with friends at a charity fundraiser that was held in Los Angeles.
The “Fast & Furious” actor agreed to ride in his friend, Roger Rodas' 2005 Porsche Carrera GT. Sadly, the pair never came back alive as they experienced a tragic car crash.

The Porsche hit a concrete lamppost while being driven at high speed. The impact was so great that the car was almost torn in half and both Paul and Rodas died in the flames of the wreckage.
Witnesses tried their utmost best to extinguish the inferno but the fire was raging too fiercely and no one could help the two friends. The actor was only 40 years old when he passed away in California.
It was believed that Paul had died instantly but his autopsy told a different and horrifying story. The star was still alive for a while immediately after the accident and he could only be identified through his dental records.
The coroner discovered that the pair had not used any drugs or drank any alcohol before they got into the car. The recorded verdict of death was by "combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries."
Paul's daughter, Meadow Walker, 22, ended up filing a wrongful death lawsuit against Porsche. She blamed the brand for having seatbelts that trapped her father in the car, and no preventative measures to allow him to get out in time.
Paul Walker’s former co-stars also took to their respective social media platforms to honor his memory on the day.
Ultimately, the case was finally resolved in 2017 when the wrongful death lawsuit was withdrawn. The actor’s daughter reached an undisclosed settlement with the car manufacturer.
On the anniversary of his death in 2020, she showed how much she still missed and remembered her father. Taking to her Instagram account, Meadow shared a throwback photo where she was photographed while sleeping on Paul, she captioned the post writing:
“A silly day to remember in sadness.”
Meadow continued her post noting how the day was a celebration of the happiness and love that her father had brought to the world. She concluded her post by adding:
“Here’s a photo of my best bud & I napping.”
Paul had been best known for his role on the “Fast & Furious” franchise as Brian O'Conner. His former co-stars also took to their respective social media platforms to honor his memory on the day.
One of the late actor’s friends and co-star on the franchise, Vin Diesel, also paid tribute to him. Diesel also happens to be Meadow’s godfather, and she’s pursuing a career as a model.
