Jeannie Mai of 'The Real' Flaunts Beach Body in Steamy Swimsuit after Emergency Surgery
Jeannie Mai shares a gorgeous photo of herself in a plunging brown cut-out swimsuit, relaxing around the pool on her Thanksgiving getaway.
A month after emergency surgery, Jeannie Mai posted a stunning photo of herself lounging poolside in a revealing cut-out one-piece on a much deserved Thanksgiving getaway.
Mai received surgery for a parapharyngeal abscess, which developed in her throat due to a bad case of strep throat. Two weeks of rest, no hot foods, and being quiet were prescribed after the surgery.

Due to the surgery, Mai had to cut her stint on “Dancing with the Stars” as her doctor said it would be an impossibility after surgery to exert the energy needed to perform on the show.
Mai shared a photo on Instagram where she posed with all the flowers and “get well soon” gifts her friends and followers had sent her. She captioned the photo,
“THANK YOU #MAIFAM for all your love..pls give me some time as I'm still sending thank yous!“
"The Real" co-star treated herself to the ultimate poolside getaway for the Thanksgiving holiday one month after her potentially life-saving throat surgery.
She posted a photo from the holiday, where she is relaxing in the sunshine in a brown cut-out one-piece swimsuit that showed off all her curves, poolside in front of a large infinity pool with an ocean view.
She went on to explain that by giving someone the power to lead your life is powerful within itself and does not mean he makes all the decisions in their life and marriage.
Mai got engaged to rapper Jeezy in April this year and received backlash after stating that she wants to “submit” to him as a wife when the pair are married.

Mai went on to explain that being the boss of herself is tiring, and she does not want to be the partner who leads the marriage. Elaborating that it has been tiring doing all the leading in her life.
To rejuvenate from her busy schedule, Mai shared her meditation and workout routine with Elle in a video posted on their website. She recommends the book “Wake Up to the Joy of You” by Agapi Stassinopoulos.
Luckily after a month of bed rest and recovery, Mai was able to return to her beloved daytime talk show “The Real,” and she expressed that she had missed talking due to recovery restrictions.
Mai was in recovery from her emergency throat for one month, she has posted about the experience to her Instagram account. She is now well on her way back to her normal schedule as a co-star of "The Real".
