'The Masked Singer' Long-Awaited Super-Six Ends with Triple Elimination
The latest episode of “The Masked Singer” proved to be a shocker as the show runners decided it was a triple elimination show for the super six.
Latest updates on the acclaimed show, “The Masked Singer” reveal that the vibrantly dressed contestants have been downsized from super-six to three through a triple elimination consensus.
During the elimination, the six finalists, the crocodile, the popcorn, the seahorse, the sun, the jellyfish and the mushroom had a face off to earn their spots in the finalist positions.

The elimination round came in the form of a duet where two masked singers were paired to face off. The winner grabbed a spot at the grand finale while the other person became unmasked.
At the end of the night, Tori Kelly was unmasked from her Seahorse undercover
The first performance was from the Crocodile and the Seahorse. While the seahorse carried off a superb tune of Bruno Mar’s “That’s what I Like,” the crocodile crooned Aerosmith’s “Don’t Want To Miss A Thing.”
Panelist Nicole Scherzinger gushed over the seahorse letting them know their voice was versatile. The end of their performance saw the crocodile emerging as a finalist while Seahorse was bitter out to unmask.
The face off between Popcorn and the Sun sent the judges into an emotional spiral as the Sun gently cruised on Billie Eillish’s “When the Party's Over.” The Popcorn got the judges on their feet also.
Unfortunately, Popcorn's performance was not enough to win the votes, eventually seeing it to the end of the stint. The Mushroom-and-Jellyfish face off duet had the Jellyfish ending up as the one to be unmasked for the night.
At the end of the night, Tori Kelly was unmasked from her Seahorse undercover, the popcorn was unmasked to reveal Taylor Dayne, while the Jellyfish turned out to be Olympic snowboarder, Chloe Kim.
Before the super six contenders, “The Masked Singer” took out contestant Broccoli in November. During their stint, The broccoli fooled fans with a rather unclear clue but at the end, fans found out it was no other than music star Paul Anka.
Presently the finalists are gearing for their record breaking performance. However some eliminated contenders are planning the way forward after leaving the show.
Clint Black and Lisa Hartman performed as the show’s first pair masking up as the snow owls. Now that they are no longer part of “The Masked Singer,” Black and Hartman have plans of doing a duet about their love story.
When asked how they felt about elimination, the ape shared on a light note that they would have loved to continue, but were grateful for sweating less.
