Sharon Osbourne Gives the Sweetest Shout Out to Husband Ozzy Osbourne on His 72nd Birthday

This week, rock ‘n roll legend Ozzy Osbourne celebrated his birthday. His wife took to social media to pay tribute to him with an adorable photo and a heartfelt note to wish him a happy birthday.

Sharon Osbourne celebrated her husband’s birthday on December 3, 2020. Rock star Ozzy Osbourne officially turned 72 on Thursday and his wife honored him by posting a tribute on her Instagram account.

Sharing a photo where she was seen lovingly kissing her husband on the cheek while embracing him from behind, “The Talk’s” co-host wrote a sweet caption. She noted how she and Ozzy had been married for 38 years this year.

Sharon, 68, also shared how they’d been together as a couple for 40 years. The television personality also noted how they’ve been friends for 52 years and concluded her post writing:

“I love you to the [moon emoji] and back! Happy Birthday my [red heart emoji].”

The image Sharon used for her post was also featured in her husband’s recent profile in “British GQ.” In the magazine, the Black Sabbath frontman shared how regretful he was over his past infidelity.

He confessed that he once cheated on his wife but promised that it wasn’t something he would do again. The singer revealed how he and his wife got through the betrayal stating:

"I got my reality check and I'm lucky she didn’t leave me.”

Ozzy admitted that he wasn’t proud of the infidelity and shared how angry he was with himself for stooping so low. Most of all, he acknowledged that the incident broke his wife’s heart.

The rock star and the television show host were married in 1982. Together they have three children (who are famous in their own ways) namely, Aimée, 37, Kelly, 36, and Jack Osbourne, 35.

Before Ozzy married his current wife he had tied the knot with his first wife, Thelma Riley. They were together from 1971 until 1982, he adopted her son Elliot and they also had two biological children.

Luckily, Sharon was able to forgive Ozzy and they reconciled in September that same year.

Their daughter Jessica was born in 1972 and their son Louis in 1975. The musician met Sharon in 1970 when she was just 18 but they only started dating and becoming romantic in 1979.

In May 2016, the couple’s marriage almost ended when they decided to separate. At the time, the pair had been married for 33 years and Ozzy’s cheating ways had become public knowledge.

Luckily, Sharon was able to forgive him and they reconciled in September that same year. In 1989 Ozzy attacked his wife and was arrested for attempted murder after she hit a panic button to get assistance from the police.
