"Ocean's Eleven" left everyone at the edge of their seats with its intriguing storyline. The movie, directed by Steven Soderbergh, became such a big hit amongst fans that it had sequels.
"Ocean's Eleven" featured some of the biggest names in Hollywood and was a fan favorite. Here's a look at what the cast has been up to since their roles in the hit movie.

GEORGE GOT HIS FIRST OSCAR
George Clooney was cast as Danny in "Ocean's Eleven" and reprised the role in the additional two sequels. The actor has featured in and directed other massive projects after his time in the movie.
Years after playing Danny in "Ocean's Eleven," Clooney won his first Oscar for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for his role in "Syriana." In 2014, he married human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin. The couple welcomed their twins Ella and Alexander in 2017.

Clooney recently revealed that his three-year-old twins speak fluent Italian. During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, the iconic actor said he and his wife do not speak Italian, though.
Damon began acting in the "Bourne" franchise in 2002 and has starred in 4 out of the five films.

JULIA ROBERTS
53-year-old Julia Roberts was cast as Tessa Ocean in both "Ocean's Eleven" and "Ocean's Twelve." Since her time in the 2001 movie, Roberts has continued to be a household name in the movie industry.
The "Pretty Woman" star won the Best Actress Oscar for "Erin Brockovich" and has gone to feature in other blockbuster movies. Roberts acted alongside Meryl Streep in the award-winning drama "August: Osage County," which featured Clooney as a producer.
BRAD PITT BECAME MR. SMITH
Shortly after playing Robert "Rusty" Ryan in the 2001 movie, Pitt went on to star in many hit movies. The actor experienced a lot of changes over the years. Pitt notably starred as Mr. Smith alongside his now estranged wife, Angelina Jolie, in "Mr. and Mrs. Smith."
He has featured in other movies like "Troy" and "World War Z." Pitt grabbed his first Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 2020 for his role in "Once Upon A Time in Hollywood."
DON CHEADLE
Don Cheadle played Basher Tarr in "Ocean's Eleven" and its subsequent sequels. Cheadle earned his first Oscar nomination in 2005 for his performance in "Hotel Rwanda." Cheadle has gone on to win awards and continues starring in hit movies.
MATT DAMON
Before starring in "Ocean's Eleven," Damon was already an Oscar winner. The 50-year-old actor starred as Linus Caldwell in all three "Ocean" movies.
The actor's career got bigger after his role in the 2001 hit movie. Damon began acting in the "Bourne" franchise in 2002 and has starred in 4 out of the five films.

ANDY GARCIA
Garcia notably starred as Terry Benedict in the "Ocean" movies and has carved a remarkable career outside of the franchise. The 64-year-old directed and starred in "The Lost City." His recent films include "Words on Bathroom Walls" and "Ana."
BERNIE MAC
Mac thrilled fans as Frank Catton in all three "Ocean" movies. He also showcased his skills in hit projects like "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" and "The Bernie Mac Show" from 2001 to 2006. Mac died of complications from pneumonia in 2008 at age 50. "Ocean's Thirteen" was one of his final film roles.

CARL REINER
On June 29, 2020, Carl Reiner passed away at 98, after leaving an indelible mark in the movie industry. Reiner starred as veteran con man Saul Bloom in the "Ocean" trilogy. Reiner made his mark as a seasoned veteran in comedy.
