Music star Twista recently went under fire after his post about "Precious" star Gabby Sidibe went viral. Although the post has since been deleted, Sidibe and her partner, Brandon Frankel, clamped down on it.

Before Twista was able to remove the post, The Shade Room's official Instagram page got a screenshot. In the post, Twista shared a collage showing comparisons between Sidibe and Instagram model Bernice Burgos.

In the post, the star shared an old-time photo of Sidibe walking down the streets, while the second frame presented an image of Burgos posing for the gram.

Above Sidibe's post, there was a fake profile outlining her qualities, claiming that she was worth 401k dollars, owns a house, a car, and had no kids. The second image listed Burgos's fake profile as someone with no jobs and more negatives.

In the post, Twista's sentiment was directed at fans while asking which they would opt for among the ladies. Many perceived it as insensitive, and it didn't take long for award-winning movie star Sidibe to notice.

This did not sit well with the "Antebellum" actress who wasted no time in bashing the singer. Her lover, Brandon Frankel, was in tow with his own retort, asking Twista to get a job.

Following the ruckus, Twista tendered his apologies stating that he did not know who Sidibe was directly while also adding that his apologies went to any other person who felt insulted.

The "Hopeful" rapper claimed that he reposted the image from Facebook. Sidibe, 37, found it offensive like many other fans who felt the post pitted two successful and beautiful women against each other.

One fan fired at Twista's music career on Twitter, sarcastically asking for any of his recent projects, while others showed their displeasure in droves.
