Teyana Taylor's Husband Shares Pic of Wife on Her 30th B-Day in a Chanel Jacket & Leather Pants

The world stood still on Thursday as singer Teyana Taylor celebrated her 30th birthday with her husband Iman Shumpert, causing a pause in events with his loving tribute to her.

Shumpert took to his Instagram page to share a picture of Taylor dressed most fashionably in a leather Chanel jacket, which she wore over a black crop top. She matched her top with black leather pants and black boots.

She accessorized her look with a silver necklace and some gold jewelry worn around her pants. The singer also rocked gorgeous black hair. In the post's caption, Shumpert did not hold back from adoring his wife.

He stated that he hopes she looks back on the last 30 years and reflect on her experiences, accomplishments, beauty, and those she has impacted. He also wrote:

"There are plenty of days we as people will make things about ourselves, we acknowledge and apologize for that fore we are only human...but today is not the day."

The loving husband further said the celebration is all about Taylor, as it marked the day her mother gave birth to her and the day she decided it was party time.

He urged her to enjoy her day and get ready to make the coming decade better than the last before wishing her the happiest of birthdays. Shumpert ended his caption by expressing love to his wife.

The singer recently clarified her comments, saying she is leaving a toxic and unrewarding relationship for another.

Taylor also shared a picture of herself inside a circle of colorful balloons to celebrate her birthday. In the caption to the post, she said hello to "Dirty 30," noting that it is time for some big moves.

One of the balloons in the picture was a giant brown balloon marked "Pretty Little Thing." Taylor used the opportunity to announce that she has been officially named the fashion brand's creative director. She added:

"We're going to be collaborating on some amazing projects together, and I cannot wait to get started!"

Taylor's birthday and surprise announcement is coming three days after she shocked her fans by revealing she was retiring from music, citing her record label, Def Jam's unfairness towards her.

However, Taylor recently clarified her comments, saying she is leaving a toxic and unrewarding relationship for another where she is loved, appreciated, and supported, adding that when a door closes, another one opens, or she picks the locks.

In announcing her naming as Pretty Little Thing's creative director, the 30-year-old referenced those lines, saying her appointment is another door that has opened for her.

Taylor and Shumpert share two daughters, Rue Rose, who was born on September 6, and Iman Tayla, 4, who she said changed her life forever while paying an emotional tribute to her on her first birthday in December 2016.
