After spending the last few years dating some of the hunkiest men in the entertainment industry, talented British singer FKA Twigs is currently dating rock artist Matt Healy.
FKA Twigs was born on January 16, 1988, as Tahliah Debrett Barnett, in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. She was raised in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, and later became a backup dancer after relocating to South London at age 17.
She arrived on the music scene in 2012, with her extended plays EP1 and EP2 (2013). Her music has been described as "genre-bending" due to its infusion of different blends of music, including electronic music, R&B, trip-hop, and the avant-garde.
Over the last few years, she has grabbed the attention of fans worldwide with her unique singing style and mystical dance performances, which has distinguished her in a music industry begging for authenticity.
Strangely, Twigs and LaBeouf appeared distant during the event and rarely interacted, much to the surprise of onlookers.
Interestingly, Twigs' career has been somewhat overshadowed by her enviable dating history. Throughout her music career, she has been involved with some of the hunkiest men in the business — making her the envy of many women.
Even though Twigs has been mostly private about her love life, the media has always caught wind of her relationships.
Earlier in the year, several media reports speculated that Twigs had been dating singer Matt Healy. Here is all you need to know about her complicated love life.
MEET FKA TWIGS' BOYFRIEND
FKA Twigs' boyfriend, Matt Healy, is the lead vocalist for the English pop-rock band "The 1975." The band was formed in 2002 in Wilmslow, Cheshire. Over the years, the band has earned critical acclaim.
Their four studio albums reached number one in the UK. Earlier in the year, PEOPLE reported that Matt Healy and FKA Twigs were an item after the two were spotted getting cozy at the NME Awards in London ahead of Valentine's day.
After the awards ceremony, Healy took to his Instagram page to upload a picture of Twigs sitting on his lap, with her arm wrapped around his neck. He captioned the photo:
"Thank you NME for the awards and the chaos"
Neither Twigs nor Healy publicly confirmed their relationship, and rumors of the two being an item fizzled out during the self-quarantining period.
However, Healy recently laid all doubts surrounding his relationship with Twigs to rest when he showed support for the songstress amidst her current legal battle with her ex-boyfriend Shia LaBeouf.
In a sweet Instagram post, Healy affectionately referred to Twigs as "loml" (love of my life) while also praising her with other adjectives like "legend" and "icon."
On December 11, Twigs filed a lawsuit against actor Labeouf, claiming she was a victim of sexual battery, assault, and emotional distress, during their relationship.
Before dating FKA Twigs, Shia LaBeouf was in a relationship with stylist Karolyn Pho. Pho also accused LaBeouf of abuse in the lawsuit. She claimed he once pinned her to the bed during a drunken feat and head-butted her until she began to bleed.
BRIEF RELATIONSHIP WITH LABEOUF
FKA Twigs met Shia LaBeouf during the production of the 2018 film "Honey Boy," a fictionalized account of LaBeouf's troubled childhood, which he wrote.
Twigs starred in the movie alongside LaBeouf, who portrayed a character based on his father. After the film wrapped up production, the twosome reportedly began dating in mid-2018.

Later that year, the notoriously private singer confirmed her relationship with LaBeouf after the two were photographed hanging out around her London home.
In January 2019, the pair made their first red carpet appearance at the premiere of LaBeouf's 2018 film "Honey Boy." Strangely, Twigs and Labeouf appeared distant during the event and rarely interacted, much to the surprise of onlookers.
Later that year, LaBeouf was spotted in the company of a mystery woman amidst reports that he and Twigs had put their relationship on hold.
Simultaneously, Twigs visited cities across the world as part of her "Magdalene" tour. A source close to FKA Twigs confirmed that the pair had taken some time apart since May. The source explained:
"They both have put their relationship on hold. FKA has been focusing on her tour and she wanted to put all of her heart and soul into it."
The duo never got back together and have since moved on with their lives. Meanwhile, FKA Twigs' dating history also includes a much talked about romance with "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson.
ROMANCE WITH ROBERT PATTINSON
A mutual friend introduced FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson in 2014, and the two instantly struck up a connection. After dating for a few months, the former lovebirds took their relationship to the next level when they got engaged in April 2015.

Following their secret engagement, the pair remained notoriously private about their love life, and it was not long before rumors of a possible split began to plague their relationship.
Amidst the breakup rumors, the couple continued to make stunning public appearances and shut down the rumors trailing their engagement when they bought a house together.
So it came as a surprise for many of their followers when it was confirmed that the duo had called off their engagement and ended their three-year relationship.
As expected, neither of them gave any reasons for their split. However, several media reports pointed to the couple's busy traveling schedules.
Twigs may have moved on from her relationship with Pattison, but the experience still remains fresh in her memory.
Even though she has not admitted it, fans are convinced that some of the songs in her latest album, "Magdalene," were inspired by her split from Pattinson.
Even though FKA Twigs has been notoriously private about her personal life, it has only increased the media's interest.
And her current lawsuit against LaBeouf will subject her to even more media scrutiny. Thankfully, she has her doting boyfriend to help her through it all.
