Scheana Shay's Journey to Motherhood Including Her Devastating Miscarriage
TV personality and actress Scheana Shay, best known for “Vanderpump Rules,” is expecting her first child. Getting pregnant was challenging, and she has been open about it.
Scheana Shay, whose acting career began in the mid-2000s, shot to fame after becoming a regular cast member of the reality TV show “Vanderpump Rules” in 2013.
Scheana started making headlines for her love life before 2013, though. In 2009, she was involved in Eddie Cibrian’s divorce as she was one of his mistresses (LeAnn Rimes was the second).

SCHEANA SHAY’S BOYFRIENDS
Years later, she dated soap opera star Robert Valletta, but their relationship was short-lived. After parting ways, Scheana got romantically involved with Mike Shay, whom she married in 2014.
Unfortunately, their marriage suffered a lot due to Mike’s struggles with substance abuse. Scheana pointed out that dealing with his addiction and marital problems was hard.
In 2016, Mike and Scheana Shay divorced. One month later, she reconnected with Robert. Their relationship ended in 2017, and she acknowledged that dating shortly after getting a divorce wasn’t a good idea.
Luckily, Scheana found love in personal trainer Brock Davies. She said that her new boyfriend was both “good to look at” and nice, as he treats her with respect.
Soon after they started dating, the TV personality revealed that she wanted to have “at least” two children. It is important to point out that Brock has two kids from previous relationships.
Speaking of children, Scheana attracted attention in 2018 after revealing that she was in the process of freezing her eggs. She admitted to being “terrified” about the hormone injections.
After the miscarriage and getting pregnant so quickly, she just prayed to have a healthy baby.
SCHEANA SHAY’S MISCARRIAGE
While Scheana and Brock are still together, they have faced some difficulties in their relationship. The most challenging so far has been dealing with miscarriage.
In June 2020, the TV personality announced on her podcast “Scheananigans” that she and Brock learned about her “miracle” pregnancy a few weeks before losing the baby.
Scheana described the pregnancy as a “miracle” because doctors had previously told her that it would be “close to impossible” to get pregnant naturally due to a low egg count.
Once Scheana Shay learned she was pregnant, she planned a Father’s Day surprise for her dad. Sadly, she started bleeding and, after going to the doctor, they learned “there was no heartbeat.”
The TV personality said that it was devastating, especially because she and her boyfriend were excited for only a few weeks before it was taken away from them “so quickly.”
Shortly after Scheana revealed her miscarriage, Brock took to Instagram to post a sweet message of support and love, pointing out that she has his back and he has hers.
SCHEANA SHAY IS PREGNANT
While losing a baby was definitely challenging for the couple, they shocked everybody on October 28 after announcing that they were expecting a child due in April 2021.
A few weeks later, they revealed the gender of the child – a girl! Scheana admitted that she just prayed to have a healthy baby after suffering a miscarriage and getting pregnant again so quickly.
The TV personality also said that she hopes to have “two or three” kids with Brock. Ideally, she’ll have a boy and one or two girls. About her current pregnancy, she said:
"I'm just excited to be having a healthy baby [and] to put the biggest bows in my little girl's hair and spoil her with unicorns!”
Ever since, Scheana Shay, who celebrated her first relationship anniversary with Brock Davies on September 30, has been posting photos and videos of her pregnancy journey. Way to go, queen!
