Like most of us, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” co-host Kelly Ripa is ready to wave 2020 goodbye, but she also wants to welcome 2021 with the best of energies, and she shares some of her secrets to do just that.

50-year-old actress, journalist, and TV show host Kelly Ripa is known for her vibrant personality, positive attitude, and charisma, and she recently put all those attributes on display in a social media post.

Ripa wanted to inspire her fans and followers on Instagram by sharing her part of her morning ritual at home to start the day in the best spirits possible, especially after what has been a very chaotic and uncertain year.

But now that 2020 is in its final weeks, Ripa wants us all to synchronize our energies to make 2021 be a much better year, and she took to her personal account on December 14 to share her cheerful morning routine, writing:

“Here’s to kickin’ away 2020 and just kickin’ in 2021. Join the #KickstartChallenge and show me three ways you’re improving your morning.”

In the short clip, Ripa listed dancing, taking vitamins, and emptying the dishwasher, as her tree morning tricks to start the day with the right foot, and she acted this activities out to the beat of Madonna’s “Hung Up.”

While the two first items on her list need no further explanation, she did explain the third one, sharing that finding the dishwasher empty in the mornings makes her husband, 49-year-old actor Mark Consuelos, happy.

The post was greatly-received among Ripa’s millions of fans, with more than 45,000 people hitting like n it, and several others leaving her positive messages in the comments section.

“This makes me so happy,” wrote a grateful fan. “Good way to start your morning with Madonna!!” added another user. “Love your energy, love your kitchen! I walk 5,000 steps every morning before I do anything else!” added a third fan.

Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos were forced to spend almost four months apart from each other as a result of the COVID-19 travel restrictions, since Consuelos had to work on the series “Riverdale” which is shot in Canada.

The couple had the chance to discuss their time apart and their reunion recently, when Consuelos, finally back in New York City in time for the Holidays, made an appearance of Ripa’s “Live with Kelly and Ryan.”

In the episode, TV host Andy Cohen stood in in replacement of Ripa’s usual co-host Ryan Seacrest, and he was the one who brought the issue up to the conversation.

“It was a nice reunion for sure,” Consuelos said, without giving too much details, after Cohen said that he had been following the couple’s social media as they anticipated their reunion.
