Jennifer Hudson & Son David Prepare for Christmas as They Show off Their Stunning Decorations
Jennifer Hudson and her son David Daniel Otunga Jr. are gearing up to celebrate Christmas, and the decorations look amazing. Take a look inside their lavish home.
It's starting to look a lot like Christmas at the Hudson mansion! Jennifer Hudson gave her fans a small glimpse into the festive atmosphere at her place in an Instagram post.
The singer's living area came alive with fairy lights and beautiful garlands. A huge Christmas tree sat on the marble floor and stole the limelight with the spectacular decoration.
READY TO CELEBRATE
The second picture saw Hudson hugging her 12-year-old son as they posed in front of the tree. David proudly showed off the presents he got for his loved ones in the next two snaps.
Hudson recently made a preemptive deal with New Line for a music-driven holiday comedy pitch.
The presents were neatly wrapped in his very own D10 wrapping paper which looks pretty cool. Another snap saw the mother and son duo chilling together as Hudson took a mirror selfie.
Fans were in love with the vibes and could not stop gushing about Hudson's stunning home. Many of them said it was the most beautiful Christmas tree they had seen so far.
EVER SO BUSY
Hudson recently made a preemptive deal with New Line for a music-driven holiday comedy pitch. The Oscar-winning actress will make her debut as a producer alongside Jonathan Glickman.
Hudson will sing holiday tunes and Christmas standards for the film. She is reportedly all set to play a broke singer who gets to write the next Christmas hit by chance.
The actress will also exec produce a biopic on the late music legend Aretha Franklin titled "Respect." Franklin handpicked her to play the role before she passed away in 2018. Sharing her happiness on Instagram after wrapping things up, she wrote:
"[Too] overwhelmed to get into it right now but words can’t express how grateful I am to be chosen by the queen herself and to live out yet another dream!"
MORE TO LOOK FORWARD TO
Hudson would have found the role a lot more daunting if the Queen of Soul had not chosen her to play it. She thought of it as a great honor and was up for the task. The film will be released on August 31, 2021.
