The late Kirk Douglas' grandson Cameron Douglas warmed fans' hearts with a beautiful photo of his daughter Lua Izzy as he celebrated her third birthday with a touching tribute.

Over the weekend, the late Kirk Douglas' grandson, Cameron Douglas, lit up his timeline to celebrate his daughter, Lua Izzy's third birthday in style. The doting father uploaded a heartwarming image of his baby girl.

The black-and-white image showed the celebrant enjoying an adventurous time outdoors with their Christmas decoration. The adorable child held on to a mesh dog statue decorated with a huge bow and shimmery balls.

She smiled sweetly for the camera and was well-clad in a bomber jacket and leggings to keep her warm as the wind swept her hair. Her actor father captioned the lovely photo:

Fans flooded the comment section with birthday wishes for the little girl. Many gushed about how cute she looked while other users couldn't help but comment on the young girl's striking resemblance with her father.

The award-winning actor died on February 5 at 103, leaving members of the Douglas clan heartbroken.

The "It Runs in the Family" star welcomed Lua Izzy on December 18, 2017, with his Brazilian actress girlfriend, Vivian Thibes. The first-time father celebrated the milestone with a photo of his girlfriend flaunting her huge baby bump while doing yoga.

The sweet name given to his daughter was a tribute to his legendary grandfather, Kirk. According to reports, the "Spartacus" star was born Issur Danielovitch and went by the name Izzy before changing to Kirk.

Before Kirk's death earlier this year, the iconic actor shared a unique bond with his great-granddaughter. About nine months after she was born, her dad uploaded a sweet photo of the late actor spending time with his great-granddaughter.

The black-and-white image saw Kirk seated on a chair in a relaxed outfit as he stretched his hands to reach out to his beloved great-grandchild, who was on her knees crawling.

The then-toddler looked up to her famous great-grandfather and also reached to hold his hands in the lovely photo simply captioned, "Love." The award-winning actor died on February 5 at 103, leaving members of the Douglas clan heartbroken.

In a heartfelt tribute, Cameron described his grandfather's death as one of the difficult things the family had to deal with even though they saw it coming. He recalled how Kirk always showed up for his events and supported him even when he gave up.

Cameron, however, noted he found comfort in knowing that his beloved grandfather was alive to witness his life turn around for the better after his run-in with the law for drug offenses.
