Elton John's Husband Celebrates 15th Anniversary of Civil Partnership with Rare Throwback Snaps

Celebrities Elton John and partner David Furnish seem to be a match made in heaven as they thrilled fans in adorable photos, in remembrance and celebration of their anniversary.

On November 21, Elton John's husband, David Furnish, took to Instagram to share a lovely two-slide throw-back post. In the first slide, the picture showed Elton and Furnish in shiny black suits while posing side-by-side, smiling warmly at the camera.

With a large artistic portrait on the wall, the second slide revealed the duo dressed in suits as they made their way down the aisle to renew their vows with family and friends cheering them on.

The post attracted over 30 thousand likes and comments, most of which congratulated the famous singer and his beau on the anniversary of their civil partnership. A particular fan said:

"Congratulations on 15 years of marriage and for being an example of love and service for the community and the human race❤"

The entertainment executive, Furnish, and his 73-year-old partner, Elton, seem to be living their best life as they also share two sons, Zachary and Elijah.

While Zachary Jackson Furnish-John was born on Christmas Day in 2010, their second child, Elijah Joseph Furnish-John, was welcomed to the world on January 11, 2013, from the same surrogate mother.

Some celebrity guests in attendance include famous singer Ed Sheeran.

After a couple of failed marriages, Sir Elton began a relationship with former advertising executive Furnish from Toronto, in 1993, and they legally tied the knot in 2014. They were also the first couple to have a civil partnership in the UK in 2005.

Following the legalization of same-sex marriage in England, Elton shared his wedding photos, one of which showed an adorable moment where their son, Elijah, clung to his father's legs during the vows.

Other pictures showed the couple holding hands while exchanging their vows, cutting the cake, and shots of centerpieces from their post-ceremony lunch.

Some celebrity guests in attendance include famous singer Ed Sheeran, football player David Beckham, and his wife Victoria, their children, and renowned model Lara Stone.

The Furnish-John clan seems to enjoy a blissful home together as the proud parents of two have remained close amidst the challenges of 2020 and look forward to spending quality time together with their children.
