Actor Shemar Moore recently revealed that he has COVID-19 in a post shared on his Instagram, shocking his fans and followers who hurriedly extended comforting words.
This will come as a shocker to many Shemar Moore fans. Hondo has COVID-19! In a very recent post on his Instagram page, the 50-year-old "S.W.A.T." actor revealed some shocking news about his health. His announcement read:
"I HAVE COVID!!!! Just found out moments ago…. I am gonna stay wrapping presents… My Xmas N New Years Is Clearly Not Gonna Be the Best."

The actor revealed that he got tested and was told that he had been infected with the illness. He stated that he had had some strange symptoms but chalked it up to food poisoning.
He revealed that he also has chills and aches all day. He added that he still has his senses of smell and taste intact and that he has neither a cough nor a runny nose.
Moore assured his fans that he would be okay, writing that this is a hard time for everyone in the world. Still, he believes that the sun will shine through the rain.
The actor encouraged his fans and followers to stay safe, reminding them to appreciate everything and everyone that they have and have had. He signed out by telling them how much he loves them. The comforting comments flooded in by the thousands.
This tragic news also came months after the "Criminal Minds" actor mourned the death of his mother, Marilyn Joan Wilson-Moore.
The news of Moore's COVID-19 diagnosis undoubtedly comes as a shock to not just him but also the many fans and followers who have been following his social media updates.
Just days ago, he unveiled his Christmas tree and shared a photo of him posing with it. The actor looked as healthy and happy as he could be. No one saw it coming.
This tragic news also came months after the "Criminal Minds" actor mourned the death of his mother, Marilyn Joan Wilson-Moore. Moore announced that his mom passed away in an emotional Instagram post several days after she died.
He later explained that he kept it a secret at first out of respect for his mom. In 2019, the actor opened up about how happy he is with how his life is playing out.
