Check Out These Stunning New Photos of Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade with Their Moms and Daughter Kaavia

Former NBA player Dwyane Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union, posed with some members of their families, including daughter Kaavia James, for a cute Instagram post.

On December 31, retired NBA star Dwyane Wade treated his over 17 million Instagram followers with a beautiful slideshow posing with his wife, daughter, mother, and mother-in-law.

Wade, Gabrielle Union, and their daughter Kaavia appeared walking on the grass for the first image, clearly having a good time. He put on a light pink jacket, matching joggers, and green shoes.

Kaavia, holding Union and Wade’s hands and looking directly at her dad’s face, was walking barefoot while wearing a white dress. As per Union, she opted for a sleeveless white dress.

I the second image, she appeared holding Kaavia in her arms while Wade was looking at the camera and covering his mouth. Kaavia’s grandmas joined for the third pic.

Jolinda Wade, posing next to Union, opted for red joggers and a sleeveless, orange top. Theresa Union, sliming next to Wade, put on blue pants, a matching top, and a light blue shirt left unbuttoned.

The slideshow's fourth and final image showed Union and Wade posing side to side while Kaavia was running away from them in the most adorable way. “Heading into 2021 like…” Wade wrote in the caption.

[Union] sometimes worries that she’s maybe told Wade too much and is going to scare him away.

Wade's mother made headlines in August 2020 after her son gushed over her bravery for overcoming her fear of swimming. The retired NBA player shared photos of her mother in a pool and explained:

“At 65 years old and after 51 years of not going into pool water. My mother conquered her fear of swimming today.”

GABRIELLE ON HER PTSD

The Wades have been attracting some attention in recent days. On December 29, for example, Union took to Instagram to share photos of her and Kaavia wearing matching neon bathing suits.

Weeks before, she opened up about being a rape survivor and the PTSD she has dealt with since the incident during an interview for Taraji P. Henson’s show “Peace of Mind with Taraji.”

She also said that when she and Wade started dating, he was aware of her PTSD only as “a fan.” During the pandemic, though, they’ve been in the same space for a long time, so she has felt more “naked” and “exposed.”

Union added that she sometimes worries that she’s maybe told Wade too much and is going to scare him away because “damaged women aren’t supposed to be loved.” Still, he is by her side and supporting her as much as possible.
