“I watched the news about lockdown from an isolated room in the hospital. Poor baby is COVID positive. He’s okay and doing well but they are being vigilant and cautious…”

The “Harry Potter” star went on to sensitize fans about the new strain of COVID-19 in circulation, mentioning that it was quite potent and people needed to be careful in the coming weeks.

Cave starred in the fantasy sequel, playing the role of Lavender Brown, a Gryffindor student in Dumbledore's army.

The actress wrote that she was in awe of medical experts as she gushed over their good work, praising them for staying on the forefront. The star asked fans to chip in prayers for her son and wish him a speedy recovery.

Many followers heeded her request, filling the timeline with their sweet opinions while sending their love and encouraging words. One fan expressed empathy, noting that no parent should go through such pain.

According to reports, the new COVID-19 strain was discovered last December, and experts certified that it was present in the UK and some stated it was also in the US. It has been reported to be more contagious.

Fans may recall that Cave starred in several "Harry Potter" films playing the role of Lavender Brown, a Gryffindor student in Dumbledore's army. After "Harry Potter," she starred in a couple of shows such as "Black Mirror" and "Trollied."
