Sir Richard shared that he would rather celebrate her than mourn her, focusing on the tremendous life she lived, the joy she radiated, and how she wholly loved those around her.

The English entrepreneur noted that although Eve was 96 years old at the time of her death, she had the same energy and enthusiasm from her youthful days as a nonagenarian.

The 70-year-old went on to talk about the social values Eve instilled in him and his siblings while they were growing up. He shared that his mom’s legacy served as inspiration while he was growing up.

Eve's generous nature was evident in her son as he never failed to donate to social causes.

During her youth, Eve was active, taking glider lessons, disguising herself as a boy to join WRENS during the Second World War, and worked as a pioneering air hostess among many other milestones.

One of Eve’s prominent achievements while alive was her philanthropy which went on for decades. Whether organizing polo games or other functions, she always had philanthropy as the theme.

Sir Richard wrote that one of her life-changing initiatives is the Eve Branson Foundation which she used to reach out to women and young girls in the Atlas Mountains.

Eve's generous nature was evident in her son as he never failed to donate to social causes. Back in 2017, the British billionaire spoke about his decision to help rebuild Necker island which was ravaged by Hurricane Irma.

The philanthropist also noted that he helped deliver aids and supplies to the affected community members. Following Eve's death, her family members showed their last respects and tributes on social media.

Sir Richard is happily married to Joan Templeman with whom he has two children. The lovebirds met at the live-in recording studio built for Virgins Records. Now 31 years into their union, the businessman sees his wife as a constant source of wisdom.
