Jason and Brittany Aldean Were Spotted Together When He Was Married — inside Their Love Story

Country music singer and songwriter Jason Aldean has been married to former “American Idol” contestant Brittany Aldean since 2015. Their love story is one of a kind.

While Jason and Brittany Aldean have had a very beautiful relationship for years and currently share two children, daughter Navy and son Memphis, things have not always been easy for them.

The first time that Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr (her maiden name) made headlines was in 2012 when they were photographed together at West Hollywood bar The Den On Sunset kissing each other.

JASON AND JESSICA USSERY’S SPLIT

Jason’s drunken make-out session would have gone unnoticed if he hadn’t been married to Jessica Ussery at the time, his high-school sweetheart and mother of two daughters, Keeley and Kendyl.

Shortly after photos of Jason kissing the then-Charlotte Bobcats cheerleader, aspiring model, and former “American Idol” contestant hit the internet, he apologized on social media.

The “She’s Country” singer pointed out that he had “too much to drink” that night and acted “inappropriately,” which is why he ended up “embarrassing” his family and himself.

A month after the incident, Jason confessed that he and Jessica were working things out and trying to move on. Weeks went by, and he really seemed committed to gaining Jessica’s trust back.

JASON ALDEAN’S SECOND WIFE, BRITTANY

In November 2012, Jessica even joined him on the red carpet at the CMA Awards, which made everyone believe that their relationship had successfully weathered the storm.

However, Jason Aldean surprised everybody in April 2013 by filing for divorce. At the time, he explained that Jessica would always be important to him because she’s the mother of his eldest daughters.

The IVF was probably harder than the actual pregnancy.

Months later, the singer started dating Brittany, about 12 years his junior. Jason even took her to the 2014 CMT Awards, and as expected, several people criticized him, but he defended his relationship on social media:

"So sick of people judging me and [Brittany] over things they know nothing about. […] Im happier than i have ever been." [sic].

In September 2014, Jason told Billboard magazine that he would like people to “get over” his affair with Brittany, especially because two years had passed already since it happened.

Shortly after that, Jason and Brittany got engaged and, on March 21, 2015, they tied the knot at Mexico’s Mahékal resort. From that point on, the couple has been inseparable.

JASON AND BRITTANY ALDEAN’S KIDS

On December 1, 2017, Jason and Brittany Aldean’s first son, Memphis, was born. A little over a year later, on February 4, 2019, the couple’s daughter, Navy, joined the family.

It is important to point out that both kids were born via IVF, and, according to Brittany, they could have been twins! Due to their infertility journey, “multiples seemed AMAZING” to her.

However, she was talked out of the idea, so Memphis was transferred first. Months after the boy’s birth, Jason Aldean’s wife, who was diagnosed with endometriosis years ago, opened up about the IVF process:

“The IVF was probably harder than the actual pregnancy, for me, because it was such a roller coaster and so difficult.”

She explained that every time doctors implanted an embryo, she’d think she was pregnant. Sadly, the pregnancy test came back negative several times, so “it’s almost like you’ve had a little bit of a miscarriage.”

At the moment, Jason and Brittany Aldean are happily married and raising their two very different kids. Navy is very calm and sweet, while Memphis has always been a “wild man.” They are absolutely adorable, though.
