Fashion icon Christie Brinkley bared her stunning figure while lounging during a getaway. The star rocked chic swimwear as she went about gardening.

Modeling icon Christie Brinkley posted some updates of herself on Instagram looking exquisite in a classy bathing suit paired with a beach scarf. Brinkley was photographed going about her gardening business.

The sports illustrated model shared four photos overlooking the beautiful sunset and the still ocean. Brinkley posed in a sandy path with colorful plants cushioning both sides.

The television personality put her gorgeous figure on display in a red one-piece swimsuit, a wide-brimmed straw hat, and a colorful scarf tied sarong-style around her waist.

Brinkley, 66, has been spending time at the beach with her loved ones since the new year began.

The “Vegas Vacation” actress completed her look with a pair of red slippers while she held on to a water hose getting ready to water the plants around her with a big grin on her face.

The star actress let fans know through the photo's caption that she considered gardening to be something that helps with her state of mind. She explained to her followers:

“Planting and watering is a zen activity for me, almost like meditation. As I planted beautiful happy plants into our precious Earth, my mind kept returning to the chaos in America…”

The actress added that she felt hurt about the sad news and health crisis in the country as she emphasized the need for the growth of love and respect. She noted that peace, calmness, and understanding needed to be cultivated.

Brinkley, 66, has spent time at the beach with her loved ones since the new year began. Her Instagram updates also had her documenting her fun activities and fashion show-offs.

The star also informed fans that she recently underwent hip replacement surgery. The medical procedure came from a recurring pain Brinkley was experiencing after a 1994 helicopter crash she was involved in.

Following the surgery, the 66-year-old shared photos of herself feeling much better, sporting a band-aid as she continues to recover. The “American Beauty Star” personality informed fans that she was starting the new year with a new hip.

Her 22-year-old daughter, Sailor, shares Brinkley’s love for nature. The youngster made headlines when her mom posted photos that showed her working hard while planting trees to retire seashores.
