Reginae Carter Makes It Known How Much She Loves & Misses Boyfriend YFN Lucci Who Is Locked Up
"Growing Up Hip Hop" star Reginae Carter made it known in a sweet Instagram post that she is missing her boyfriend YFN Lucci amid his time in prison.
Lil Wayne's daughter Reginae Carter is missing her boo, and she wants the world to know it. Taking to her Instagram stories, the 22-year-old beauty shared a photo with her boyfriend, rapper YFN Lucci.
The intimate snap saw the couple cuddling together while posing on a balcony. Carter stunned in a low-cut pastel orange dress while Lucci donned a white shirt with patterned pants and a matching headwrap.
MISSING HER BOO
The rapper leaned close to Carter, who looked at the camera and smiled from afar. He had his hands wrapped around her waist while she looked happy and gave in to the sweet embrace.
Carter included a sticker of checklists on the right that showed how much she loves her man and misses him. The post came after Lucci turned himself in to the police on January 12.
The rapper is reportedly being held in Fulton County Jail and faces a murder charge in connection to a fatal shooting of James Adams on December 10, 2020. The victim lost his life in the hospital.
Carter shared her boyfriend wanted his fans to know he was okay.
Lucci, whose real name is Rayshawn Bennett, was wanted on the charges of felony murder, participating in street gang activity, and assault on top of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
In a statement to CNN, one of Lucci's attorneys, Drew Findling, said their review of the initial evidence indicates there is no basis for any criminal charges against the rapper.
CARTER SHARES UPDATE
Lucci is among the three suspects in the investigations. The other two were caught by police. In the wake of his arrest, Carter recently shared he is in good spirits and doing well.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Carter shared her boyfriend wanted his fans to know he was okay and thanked everyone for their prayers and well wishes. She also added that he will be home soon.
The rapper was allegedly behind the wheel of the drive-by shooting. Another man was left seriously injured that day. The shooting reportedly occurred when Lucci and three gang members drove to a rival gang's territory.
Lucci's attorneys said they will continue their investigation on his behalf. Meanwhile, his fans and Carter continue to pray for his safety and hope he will be set free soon.
