Marie Osmond Talks Candidly about Remarrying Her 1st Husband Steve Craig 26 Years after Divorce

Marie Osmond opened up about remarrying her first husband, Steve Craig, after being divorced for 26 years.

Marie Osmond opened up to Fox News about how she and Steve Craig remarried in 2011 after being divorced for 26 years.

When Osmon was just 22 and fresh off her variety show "Donny and Marie" with her brother, Donny Osmand, she married Craig. The couple would welcome their son, Stephen, less than a year later.

The two would eventually reunite 26 years later after they divorced. In 2011 the couple was married as Stephen was getting married, and they wanted to be married when they attended his wedding.

From that moment, Osmond has been gushing about her man and their marriage in many of her interviews, sharing insights into their marriage. Osmond revealed to Fox News:

"He’s my best friend. We love to just do nothing together. We have fun just being together. He loves me for me and I love him for him. And he makes me laugh."

Osmond is a moderately religious person and shared that God has his timing concerning the 26 years apart from Steve and that she views those 26 years as a miracle from God.

She is outspoken about her faith and how it helped her through difficult times in her life, such as the death of her son Michael and postpartum depression.

The couple is enjoying life as empty nesters now that all of her children have moved out.

She shared to Oprah that losing her son in 2010 had been one of the hardest things she has ever had to deal with, and her faith and her husband helped her to copy during that time.

She shared to Fox that she likes to share positive messages on her Instagram in hopes that it might help someone who reads it. She said:

"I think we have to stay positive [during these times] and have hope in God. I don’t know how people can’t have that connection with their faith."

Osmond had married Brian Blosil in 1986. They had seven children together, Jessica, Michael, Matthew, Brandon, Brianna, Abigal, and Rachael. The couple divorced in 2007.

She would later be reunited with her ex-husband. They dated secretly for two years before tying the knot again. He regularly features on her Instagram, and the two seem madly in love.

The couple is enjoying life as empty nesters now that all of her children have moved out. They both have bought motorcycles as she shared that she has had a motorcycle license since she was 16.

She and her brother ended their Las Vegas residency in 2019. Osmond now enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, driving her motorcycle with Steve.
