Jason Aldean's Wife Brittany Kerr Opens up about Experiencing Intense Chest Pains

Jason Aldean’s wife, Brittany Kerr, made a trip to the ER that lasted 5 hours after experiencing intense chest pains on Thursday, which she shared with her followers on Instagram.

Brittany Kerr posted a complaint on her Instagram stories about experiencing intense chest pains since morning and had taken to resting in bed while her husband watched over her. The pain, however, led her to the ER.

Kerr spent 5 hours in the ER with her husband and later received a positive diagnosis from doctors who found that Kerr was experiencing Pleurisy. Kerr later took to her Instagram to open up about the experience.

Pleurisy is an inflammation of the lining around the lungs, caused by an inflammation within the pleural space that separates the lungs. The pleural space allows lungs to expand and contract with ease.

When the pleural space is inflamed, the lining tissues began to rub together. This was the cause of Kerr's chest pains. However, despite the pains, Kerr told followers she was prescribed one drug to treat the illness.

"To help this, uh, you take ibuprofen."

Kerr was seated across her seemingly tired husband as she updated followers on the turn of events. The former cheerleader joked about getting a divorce after keeping Aldean in the ER for 5 hours.

Aldean was not pleased with what he referred to as an illness that would have been taken care of with Advil in 30 minutes. The couple’s banter continued showing their closeness. The pair’s relationship, however, begun with scandal.

Aldean is determined to live his life without trying to please netizens.

Aldean and Kerr made headlines after Aldean was snapped making out with Kerr in a West Hollywood bar while still married to Jessica Ussery in 2012. Aldean made an immediate public apology.

Aldean disputed claims of an ongoing fling with Kerr and decided to make his marriage work. Ussery and Aldean split months later. Aldean then rekindled his romance with Kerr, but criticism followed. Aldean stepped in saying:

"I have made mistakes but I am a better person because of it and wouldn't change a thing. I'm happier than I have ever been."

Aldean and Kerr continued to face public disapproval all the way to their low key wedding in March 2015, 6 months after Aldean proposed. In 2017 the pair, alongside Aldean’s children, announced they were expecting.

However, the two and the unborn child faced certain death during the tragic Las Vegas mass shooting at Aldean’s concert that left 58 people dead. The couple survived and welcomed their son the same year.

According to Aldean, the tragic incident made his son Memphis’s arrival more special. Kerr and Aldean welcomed their daughter Navy Rome in 2019. The pair often takes to Instagram to share their lives.

Despite their rocky start Aldean is determined to live his life without trying to please netizens. The star has admitted he made mistakes, but his family comes first, and Kerr and Aldean seem to get stronger every year.
