Bindi Irwin Poses in Husband's Uniform after Her Khakis Wouldn't Button over Her Growing Belly

Pregnant Bindi Irwin took to Instagram to share a picture showing her wearing her husband's khaki uniform because she doesn't fit over her growing belly.

22-year-old Bindi Irwin shared that she has upgraded to wearing her husband's work clothes. Her khakis no longer fit over her pregnant belly, which has her resorting to her husband, Chandler Powell's closet.

The avid conservationist is headed into her third trimester of pregnancy and, instead of buying new work clothes, has opted for her husband's uniforms that are an automatic better fit.

KHAKIS ALL THE WAY

Working at the Australia Zoo comes with outfit requirements, with one such requirement being wearing their signature khaki shirt. With her pregnant belly growing by the day, Bindi has outgrown her own khakis.

The mother-to-be took to her Instagram page to share a photo of the solution she has come up with, namely turning to fish a khaki shirt out of Powell's closet. She captioned her post:

"Reason 1 million I’m thankful for my husband. Borrowing Chandler’s uniform because my khakis won’t button over my belly..."

KHAKIS ARE FEATURING

The daughter of the "Crocodile Hunter" star, Steve Irwin, has been sure to keep the khakis part of her journey to becoming a mother. Bindi and Powell held up a tiny khaki shirt to announce that they were expecting.

Bindi shared a video of her and Powell in the doctor's room during one of her recent sonograms.

The couple announced a baby on the way in August 2020 by posting a picture on Instagram. Clearly ecstatic with the news of their family expanding, the two shared a photo of them holding the baby uniform.

POWELL COUPLE

The parents-to-be have known each other since 2013. Powell was in Australia to compete in a national wakeboarding competition and decided to go on a guided tour of the infamous Australia Zoo.

Bindi was his tour guide, and the two instantly got along great. They decided to keep in touch through letters and phone calls after Powell left to return to Florida. Powell shared about his first impression of Bindi, saying:

“I’m like, ‘Wow, she is amazing.'”

The young couple not only shared the lovely photos of when they raised down the aisle on March 25, 2020, but have also been keeping their fans updated with their journey to becoming parents.

Bindi has also surprised her fans with her choice of nursery room decorations. The "Dancing with the Stars" star ditched the zoo theme and decided to go with bunnies, flowers, and moons, as she revealed in a recent post.

Powell and his wife have shared some exciting and difficult times. Progressing from a long-distance relationship to being married and raising their first child together, there can only be good times ahead for them.
