Salli Richardson and Dondré Whitfield are among the most solid couples in Hollywood. The power couple has been together for 18 years, and they are doting parents to two lovely children.
Hollywood is also known as "Splitsville" because of the high rate of divorce among Hollywood celebrities. But actor Dondré Whitfield and his wife Salli Richardson are breaking the norms.
The hot celebrity couple who tied the knot in 2002 has enjoyed 18 years of blissful marriage. Whitfield and Richardson are also proud parents to daughter Parker and son Dre.
HONORING THEIR DAUGHTER PARKER
Whitfield and Richardson love showing off their adorable kids on social media. They have posted quite a few photos of Parker and Dre. In one selfie with Parker, Richardson wrote:
"The love of my life... [Parker] you make me proud."
Richardson uploaded the photo on September 20, 2020, to mark National Daughters' Day. The picture was also proof that Richardson and Parker are look-alikes. Fans praised them in the comments section.
A SWEET MESSAGE FOR SON DRE
On September 29, 2020, Richardson also shared a sweet message for her son as she celebrated National Sons' Day. She posted three photos, the first of which showed her posing sweetly beside Dre.
Richardson is one busy career woman who has dabbled in acting, directing, and producing.
Another photo showed Dre holding his puppy. The last picture was a close-up shot of the boy. In the caption, the loving mother called Dre her "heart and soul." She also said she missed him every day.
Most recently, Richardson shared a snap taken at Dre's 12th birthday party on January 26. The photo featured Dre with his dad and sister. Beside them was a laptop displaying Richardson on a video call.
In the caption, she explained that she could not be at the party and thanked technology for allowing her to take part in the celebration. She also expressed her pride as a mother to both Dre and Parker.
A POWER COUPLE
Among directorial credits under her belt is two episodes of her show, "Eureka." The riveting short film "Grace" also belongs to her list of directorial achievements.
As an actress, her most notable accomplishments include starring opposite actors Will Smith in "I am Legend," Denzel Washington in "Antwone Fisher," and Samuel L. Jackson in "The Great White Hype."
Richardson and Whitfield are an inspiration to many couples. In a candid interview in 2019, Richardson confessed she was the first to say "I love you". The couple also opened up about their inspiring parenting style.
