Time flies as celebrity couple Dondré Whitfield and wife Salli Richardson celebrate their daughter's sweet 16th birthday.

Sweet Sixteen is a significant milestone for all teenagers and Dondré Whitfield and Salli Richardson went all out for their daughter Parker Richardson Whitfield's big day.

On Thursday, the proud father celebrated his daughter's birthday. Just like every parent, he was shocked at how fast his baby girl had grown writing:

"Is this really happening??? My baby is 16 today. I'm so proud of who she is and am prouder to be her father! Parker, Happy birthday baby girl."

Along with the caption was a lovely picture of the birthday girl, all smiles surrounded by flowers and beautiful sweet sixteen balloons. Whitfield went on by expressing his deep love for his daughter and wishing her a happy birthday.

Richardson has an outstanding resume as she has starred alongside legends like Denzel Washington and Will Smith, playing the role of their wives.

Richardson wasn't left out of the celebration as she also posted a throwback picture of her daughter side-by-side with a current picture. Parker looked angelic in her pink bikini throwback picture alongside the present photo that showed her beautiful smile.

The happy parents-of-two have been married for a good 18 years and one of Oprah Winfrey's "Black Love" sessions got the actress spilling a few secrets.

Richardson revealed on the OWN special that before Whitfield even proposed, she told him she would marry him. According to her, it was an impulsive statement because she was hopelessly in love with him.

The 52-year-old actress is famous for her role in the Lifetime movie, “Pastor Brown," a movie she co-produced and helped in the casting that also featured Whitfield and popular Atlanta-based preacher, Pastor Creflo Dollar.
