Kathy Flynt Is Larry Flynt's Ex-wife Who Blessed Him with a Daughter
Kathy Flynt is Larry Flint's ex-wife and the mother of his daughter, Theresa Flynt. When Larry died, Kathy's daughter ran his empire and dealt with a lawsuit against her.
Larry Flynt built his empire in the adult entertainment industry. He is the man behind the famed "Hustler" magazine in 1974, which generated his wealth and popularity. However, his business was also filled with controversies and legal issues. In 2000, the businessman launched Hustler Casino in Los Angeles.
Besides his ventures in the industry and a brief stint in the political field, Larry was known for having several marriages. One of his wives, with whom he shared a daughter, was Kathy Flynt.

Who Is Kathy Flynt, Larry Flynt's Ex-wife?
Before marrying Larry, Kathy Flynt was known as Kathy Barr, a dancer at Dragon Lady, a club in 1967. She was, as the American publisher described, "tall, gorgeous, [and] blonde."
Not much is known about her life apart from their short marriage. Kathy was one of Larry's five wives throughout his life, with his last wife being Elizabeth Berrios.

Kathy Flynt's Relationship with Larry Flynt
Kathy and Larry met when she applied at the first Hustler Club. She was 20 at that time, although Larry had previously seen her dancing at Dragon Lady. Their on-again-off-again relationship lasted a year and a half before she became pregnant.
In 1968, Kathy married Larry and began their family life. However, their union was short-lived. Soon after they called it quits, the pair welcomed their daughter, Theresa Flynt, on June 3, 1969. Kathy's ex-husband had six children; five daughters and one son, with different women.

Kathy Flynt's Daughter Was Present When Larry Flynt Died
Kathy's ex-husband passed away from heart failure in 2021 in Los Angeles. He was 78. His daughter, Theresa, and wife were by his side when he died at Cedars-Sinai Hospital.
Larry already nearly died decades before after being the target of a serial killer. Larry was shot in 1978 when he exited the Gwinnett County Courthouse for a legal battle regarding his X-rated publications. While the gunshot did not kill him, it left him paralyzed from the waist down.
Kathy's former lover undoubtedly became known across borders, so much so that a film was made about him titled "The People vs. Larry Flynt" starring Woody Harrelson and Courtney Love.
Kathy and Larry's daughter grew up working for her father's business. She managed the Hustler Hollywood store and became the vice president of her dad's company.

She also has on-screen appearances in television shows and television movies, including "The Daily Show," "Sex TV," "Frontline," "Celebrity Sex Tapes Unwound," and "Affairs Across America: The Ashley Madison Story." Theresa was also credited in "Barelt Legal Auditions," "Barely Legal All by Myself 2," and "Wrangler: Anatomy of an Icon."
Theresa made headlines in 2011, the same year she delivered a speech at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, after Hustler's West Coast District Manager, Steven Prescott, sued her for sexual harassment. As detailed in his lawsuit, Theresa repeatedly harassed him through uncomfortable and violating text messages and gestures.
Before taking things to court, Prescott claimed he reported the incidents to upper management, but no further action was taken. Two years later, Prescott withdrew his sexual harassment lawsuit.
