Us Weekly: Pregnant Meghan Markle Feels Happy While Awaiting Baby No 2 with Prince Harry

Duchess Meghan and her husband are currently expecting their second child together! A source has revealed how the duchess was feeling about being pregnant again after her previous miscarriage.

A spokesperson for Prince Harry and his wife Duchess Meghan revealed that the couple is expecting their second child together. The child will join their son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, 1.

The spokesperson said they were "overjoyed" by the news. A Buckingham Palace spokesman said the Queen her husband Prince Philip, their son Prince Charles, and the rest of the Royal Family were delighted by the news.

The Royal Family also wished the Sussexes well with their pregnancy. Meghan and Harry, 36, revealed a first look at the royal’s baby bump by sharing a black-and-white picture of themselves.

In the image, the couple lay under a tree while Meghan lay flat on her husband’s lap as he cradled her head and she cradled her baby bump. The couple appeared barefoot and with broad smiles.

Her baby bump was quite big in the image but a date of birth wasn’t given. The couple’s second child will be eighth in line to the throne after Meghan, 39, suffered a miscarriage last July.

The news of the couple’s loss was revealed by the duchess in November 2020. At the time, she’d written an essay where she opened up about how she felt about losing her second child.

According to an “Us Weekly,” source, Meghan was “feeling great, happy and healthy” while awaiting her child’s birth. The insider claimed the couple was excited to finally be able to give Archie a sibling.

They were also quite thrilled about expanding their family. The news of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s pregnancy was announced by their spokesperson on February 14, 2021.

The person who captured the couple’s outdoor pregnancy announcement photo was photographer Misan Harriman. The photographer captioned the social media image with a message to Meghan.

He revealed that he’d attended Meghan’s May 2018 wedding to Harry where he witnessed the start of his friend’s love story. Harriman shared how honored he was to capture its growth.

Last September, Harry and Meghan privately congratulated Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank’s on their pregnancy announcement. The royal shared the news via Instagram.

She and her husband uploaded a cute photo of tiny baby slippers that had a bear design to make their announcement. They explained that they were due early in 2021 and welcomed their son on February 9.
