DANCING QUEEN
Bianka, Kobe and Vanessa's third daughter, was smiling and jiving next to her 38-year-old mother. The 4-year-old is clearly not camera shy as she showed her best moves, stealing all of the spotlight. Vanessa captioned the post:
It’s Bianka’s shoulder shimmy for me. ??
It has been just over a year since the Bryant family lost not only their father and husband, Kobe, in a tragic helicopter accident but also 13-year-old Gianna, who was Kobe and Vanessa's second daughter.
TIKTOK FEATURES
The middle Bryant sister doesn't only steal the show on her mom's social media but has also made guest appearances on her older sister Natalia's TikTok videos, where she also showcased her cute dances.
Vanessa had two tattoos done, one for each of the loved ones that she lost.
18-year-old Natalia and WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu were trying out some choreography for her TikTok page. Bianka decided she also wanted to form part of the fun and joined in on the dancing with her own simplified version of the moves.
PURSUING CHANGE
The death of Kobe, his daughter, and seven other people in the helicopter accident left fans and family in shock. It has led to investigations to discover the cause behind the crash. National Transportation Safety Board looked at the case in depth.
The high profile accident has led to some changes being made concerning pilots' preparation for unforeseen circumstances with some of Ara Zobayan, the pilot's decisions being called into question. NTSB Vice Chair Bruce Landsberg said:
"An accident (is) just something that's unforeseen, unpredictable, if you will. Unfortunately this wasn't."
IN THE WAKE OF DEATH
In the wake of the basketball star's death, Kobe's widow has made an intentional effort to ensure that her husband and daughter's memory is kept alive in her family and still regularly shares social media content about them.
Vanessa had two tattoos done, one for each of the loved ones that she lost, and shared about her new ink on her social media feeds without saying what the specific tattoos were.
Kobe's legacy is kept alive through his three daughters and wife that remain behind. Vanessa was sure to take her two youngest daughters to Disneyland in Florida, where she and Kobe also shared unforgettable memories.
Despite having to overcome the immense grief after losing two of their family members, the Bryant household is continuing and trying to find their new normal as a family of 4 without their beloved Kobe and Gianna.
