Here's How LL Cool J Surprised His Wife of 25 Years with a Sweet Gesture on Valentine's Day
Fans got to see the delightful way "NCIS" star LL Cool J celebrated Valentine's Day with Simone Smith, his wife of 25 years. He made sure to remind her of how and when it all started.
On her Instagram page, Simone chronicled their celebration of love starting with a photo of herself looking radiant in an African fashion print Kimono that was thrown over a black camisole and a pair of jeans.

Simone, a jewelry CEO, rocked several silver bracelets, a gold chain, and matching hoops while wrapping her lengthy blonde braids in the semblance of a scarf.
The star was photographed admiring a handwritten love note while a large bouquet of red flowers sat in front of her. The next slide gave a clear view of the intricately arranged flowers.
In another snapshot, Simone gave fans a glimpse at the love note her rapper spouse left for her. He called her his forever Valentine. The couple topped it all with the last slide, where they are seen sharing a sweet kiss.
Simone had stage three chondrosarcoma and underwent a 15-hour surgery and over two years of recuperation.
Simone and LL Cool J are one of Hollywood's finest romantic pairs who have held it down for years and defied the odds against failed famous marriages. The duo who got married in 1995 first met as youngsters in 1987 and dated for eight years.
The pair have four grown children, Najee, Samaria, Italia, and Nina-Symone, who is the youngest. While the older children chose careers diverse from showbiz, Nina-Symone is looking into music just like her daddy.
Things may seem blissful for the award-winning entertainer and his wife now, but they did pass through some tumultuous times. In 2004, Simone was diagnosed with bone cancer.
Simone had stage three chondrosarcoma and underwent a 15-hour surgery and over two years of recuperation. LL Cool J had to cut down on his busy showbiz life, making time to be by his wife's side and seeing her through the recovery period.
These days the power couple have joined efforts with the American Cancer Society, and they are looking to help people fight cancer like a boss.
