Boris Kodjoe's Son Nicolas Stuns Fans Playing Stevie Wonder's 'Ribbon in the Sky' on a Piano

Talented actor, Boris Kodjoe's son wows fans with his extraordinary skills on the piano while playing one of Stevie Wonder's compositions in a new Instagram video.

With parents as passionate about the art as Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker, it is almost a given that their children would somehow inherit some of that passion.

Interestingly, the couple's second child, son Nicolas Kodjoe is not quite keen on his parents' love for acting, but he has already picked an early interest in music.

Recently, Parker took to her Instagram page to share a clip of her son showing off his mastery of the piano while playing a composition from the legendary musician Stevie Wonder.

The video quickly garnered several comments from Parker's fans with most of them showering praises on the talented teenager for doing justice to a difficult piece. One particular fan wrote:

"All right, Nico. Ribbon in the Sky is a tough one to crack and you are killing it!!! #practicemakespermanent."

Some other fans pointed at Nicolas' impressive genes while alluding to his exceptional piano playing skills. Even though the post has spent just a few hours online, the verdict seems to already be out on Nicolas' talent.

Kodjoe and Parker also share a daughter, Sophie, born on March 5, 2005. Shortly after her birth, she was diagnosed with spina bifida, a birth defect with varying degrees of severity.

The news was devastating for the soon-to-be-wed couple, and to make things worse, Sophie was diagnosed with the most severe form of the defect.

The hunky actor spoke about raising his kids and explained why they do not have social media pages.

The lovebirds eventually tied the knot in May 2005 in Freiburg. Immediately after the wedding, they rushed to be with their daughter as she underwent a procedure to detach her spinal cord from a fatty mass called lipoma.

Even though the surgery was deemed a success, Parker and Kodjoe have still had to care for their daughter through some other health complications associated with spina bifida.

Despite her early setbacks, Sophie has grown into a much healthier teenager, and alongside her younger brother, the two are starting to pose a different kind of challenge for their parents.

During a past interview, Parker opened up about raising her kids during this new age and emphasized the importance of keeping the communication flowing between herself and her kids.

Over the years, Kodjoe has also been quite open about his fatherhood experience. During a 2019 appearance at the Essence Festival Power Stage, the hunky actor spoke about raising his kids and explained why they do not have social media pages.

The actor pointed at the distractions provided by social media and reiterated how it was a parent's responsibility to try to shield their kids from all of that while learning to own their personalities.

Kodjoe and Parker's 15-year marriage perfectly mirrors what can be achieved when two hearts beat as one. And the hard work they have put into raising their kids is bound to produce greater results than Nicolas's fantastic piano skills.
